Hey Aileili

Since im a CH/Ranger,I`ve never had that prob.but it sounds wiered that u can onlycall them each indivdiually...anyone?

I agree that somethings have to be speeded up for practicallity,but not all things(not to say that u do either)

...And yes/agree The Rangers deff.need some Grande l`amore.

As far as the disbelief part goes,I just corrected the statements of the RW info,and gave mywiew on things.That`s what these threds are for,arent they?Didnt mean to sound flamy in any way

-Ranger-

-CH-

-Pistoleer-

(-working towards Mastering my disbelief-)

Yea, I started a post on this idea a while back. Here is the link to see what thoughts rangers had and what arguments for and against came up. Sorry I don't know how to make clicky.

Ok, I know most people prefer vehicles to mounts since bikes are so much faster, but is there maybe a way to make mounts more attractive?

Now,I know this is a "futuristic" setting and vehicles are just as "Rangery" as creature mounts, but perhaps we could do something to make mounts work for Rangers... like allowing Rangers and Scouts to /maskscent and /harvest, and allowingRangers to /camouflage and/areatrack while mounted?

This is not as usefull as, say, allowing Rangers to use specials while mounted, but it may just be usefull enough to get mounts some more usage.

Also, perhaps we could get a duration increase on /gallop determined by our Terrain Negotiation or Burstrun Effeciancy mods?

Just some things I was pondering whilesitting in myField Base, enjoying themountainview on Naboo.

Hi - I use my mount almost as much as I use my speeder, mostly for a lot of reasons listed above. One thing I've figured out is that if you have novice CH (which I do), you can hace yourharvesting droid out while you're mounted. The droid sometimes has problems keeping up, but if you are moving around fast looking for spawns of easy things (ie., require no specials) to harvest, then the droid works really well.

You can also make a simple macro that will let you track and camo yourself from your mount:

/dismount;
/areatrack; (or maskscent)
/mount [mount name here];

I know that this isn't exactly what you're proposing, and I too would much prefer to have this functionality without resorting to these macros, but for now, when a lot of other things need fixing before we start requesting new stuff, these solutions work just fine for me.

Don't forget that you only need 6 SP for a Ranger.

So anybody up to writing a summary for this thread so far (not saying it should stop though). You know, for Owen and Phenix's compilations of ideas?

Some of it might already be in them though, up to them what to include I guess.

Including the highlights from Squidwalker's thread?

Im to tired right now, and the way my project schedule look atm probably won't be any less tired come the weekend,anyone ?

Cheers,
Jasse
