haha, I always pronounced it cash-eek. Not like you do, but also not at all like the SW homing beacon.

What about the pronunciation of Scyk?

I pronounce it "sick",
but is it "sike"?
Or "skick"? "Skike"?

Maybe the SW pronunciation is "sock?"

"It appears you are being tracked by a sock".

It is probably pronounced sick...but I say skick usually.

arrgh..lithium is playing mind games with me...and winning

Anyway, let me point out one irrelevant fact: if you pronounce it 'sick' it means the business end of a man in one of the languages I know, and if you pronounce it 'skick' it means FUBAR.

Now you know the name of one ship I won't be flying under any circumstance

According to Star Wars Homing Beacon, the planet Kashyyyk is pronounced ka-shook. Hmmm....I have always called it cash-ick.

It's pronounced "Ka-shook" withthe deepness of theWookiee voice, for the rest of us it's "Cash-eek".... That's my only "logical" explanation... (more goofy than logical)
