Iconic professions. Ok. Chewbacca was a Scout. How come that didn't stay?

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.

The only decent looking (non-Imp *glare*) scout helmet is really the mauruder helmet. It looks like something taken straight from an undead rogue, sure, but it looks a lot better than anything else.

But then again, we havn't seen recon mauruder since the CU beta...

I'm probably going to get crap for this... but I happen to like the Rebel Battle Armor.
I think the Helmet actually looks kind of cool.

I like using Padded (w/o the helmet, I usually go Comp. or something for that) and I think with good colors... it looks great. And to be honest, Imp Assault Armor doesn't look to good to me, neither does the Imp Version of the CloneTrooper Armor... It's like you're trying to go play laser tag under a blacklight.

But I'm probably in the minority on this one.

a pretty good look is the rebel recon body, leggings and biceps with rebel assault armour boots bracers and gloves. i had a crafted bh helmet made in rebel colours, topped off with a ubese bando and Bh belt you get a really awesome spec forces sort of look.
