Depends on the situation. Normally I jsut weara single pair of extremely well made Ubase gloves(they look good lol). But, in situations when I'm going to be dealing with a large group of lower level mobs, or able to isolate one single high level mob, I'll switch over to a well made Tantel/Chitin combination. The armor not only affords me a little extra protection, but helps to minimize my wounds.

I should also note that I almost always am traveling with my lovely partner, who is a Master Medic/CH with some pistol and dancing skills. So, when I can deal with large scale mobs in a controlled maner, wearing my armor makes more sense because my drops in my Health and Action pools can be compensated by my partner's healing capabilites. Also, as a Zabrak, mind isn't much of an issue for me with or without armor.

The result is a pretty effective combination...but, for most styles of combat, I do agree, its either go without or wear for certain situations.

I wear none when hunting andsimple NPC combat, BUt when it comes to a raid I wear padded because I will play a support ranged role and medics are stationed to my squad. I find that for every day play it slows my regen.
