Well darn.
Oh well, I am hoping that a CL 17 profession + a CL 54 profession = CL 71, but with the Devs you never know 
.
Perhaps I will spend the remaining points in Creature Handler. While grinding the xp for DNA sampling, and going out surveying, if I know of a good spawn of organics and there happens to be a low CL creature nearby, I can send my pet after it while I sample and survey.
Also, on a related note, BE's cannot sample from a creature which is also affected by the Can't trap or harvest bug, which is also the same as the Cannot tame that issue.
