Don't count them out just yet, I tried them for the first time last week on a Combat medic who was hunting with me on Dothomir. It came in really handy because he was the only 1 who could not mask scent in the group. it spead up our movement alot because he could get closer to aggros when running missions. I didn't let him get in really close, but it would keep everything from aggroing at 100m.
