It's true. Sidekick is levelling carbineer, I go along for company and some 'free' harvesting. Who gets aggroed?

Both cammoed, ME
Him cammoed, ME
Me cammoed, okay, so that seems to put it off... till he gets a bleed on them. Then the whole herd aggroes on ME even though my cammo doesn't break.

Big beasties it's a pain.

Worrts? WORRTS?? The newbie fields of Eisley have seen me stargazing too often for it to be anything but funny anymore.

I have been saying this from day one of Ranger. Just having Novice Ranger somewhere in your available titles ensures you are the target of any and all aggro.
I first noticed this the time I was healing, 150m from a target. The group hit the lair, and I got aggro'd. Never shot, never moved, was still maskscented... yet I am the Ranger Lunchable. Was fairly funny.
Since then, my usual hunting partners know that I am gonna be the magnet. They know to stand back from me and let me take the brunt of creature charges.
RANGER spells LUNCH

This is why I have a pet on guard. If I'm a lunchable then they are Sylvester's din-din too.

I can camo and stand right next to the creatures attacking my hunting buddies and heal my buddies while they fight going completely un-noticed (yes even on Dathomir) .... However, once the creatures do catch scent of me .... they don't want to let go ... even when someone uses rescue, they don't want to let go .....

Personally, I think the way we Rangers smell after camo wears off is like an aphrodisiac to the creatures! Just what's in that camo anyway???

Best thing that ever happened to me regarding camo: I camo up at the village on dath, and i breaks within 2s. OK, take 2. Same results. I wasted 10 camos before i just switched to mask scent. I was sitting around +130ish (or so i remember) for mask scent bonuses, and the FIRST aggro that i see breaks it. Ok, took off all my camo/mask clothing, mask again, and i made it past almost every aggro on my way to the science outpost.

Whoa, if the creatures can kill you before a Carbineer can kill himself you ARE in trouble!

Only aggroed, not dead. They usually get in biting distance if am sat on my a$$, being sarcastic at him for losing so much of his HAM just from shooting. But they don't last too long after that.

Have started sending him and the droids round the other side of the lair, so at least I can keep out of 'sniffing' range and get a few conceal shots in.
