Be sure to take different damages rifles. Now im taking five, T21-ap3- & laser-ap2-( both energy ), sg82 (cold), DXR-6 (acid) and a jawa (stun). And im waiting my berserker ( heat ).
Have you ever had to pull out your Jawa or SG82? I tend to find I get by fine with just T21 + DXR. Even stuff that resists energy and has vulns to stun or cold goes down quicker with T21 due to AP3. I am talking PvE of course...

k, have decided to stick with the rifle for now, but now I'm a tad curious, one of the guys on Scyla was able to make schematics of traps, so do u need the artisan skill for this or have i missed something?

If you have a weapon, droid, etc. crafting tool, all you need to do is stand in front of a weapon, droid, etc. crafting station and you'll get the option to make a schematic. No artisan neccesary.

I have never found a situation where the T21 was not the best tool for the job (except 100% Energy Resists). The AP3 usually makes it able to outdamage any other rifle, despite the resists of the creature. This is just my opinion.
I currently use a Laser Rifle speed sliced at 3.6. Less Ap but more damage and higher refire rate. I suppose I should check speed cap information though as I'm not sure what I'm *actually* firing at speedwise. I hate paying attentiuon to the statistical portion of the game.....

One question this has brought up for me is that if I'm not mistaken, swordsman is the fastest at melee killing pve and rifles is the fastest at ranged killing pve, both speed capped of course. Now I'm not a powergamer by any means but I'm just curious as to what the general consensus is on which of the 2 is most preferred for fast solo harvesting. I don't think I'd switch as I'm enjoying my ability to meditate my wounds away with TKA too much hehe.
