Thanks to everyone for the replies. I appreciate it.
So, definately need some trees and plants. While fire and torches are good for a ranger look, the ship is surprisingly well lit without any other light source. A critter or two is something I'll have to consider as well. The 75 item limit will make this an interesting challenge, but I think I'm up for it.
Oh, and if I could come up with a couple of those speakers and a large bed, I -could- come up with something close to a swinging bachelor pad. I can just imagine the pick up lines for that too: "Hey baby, I saw ya givin' me the eye earlier.Wanna go back to my yacht? We can get a great view ofthe gas giant Yavin as we sip Vasarain Brandy and lounge around on my heart-shaped bed. Just watch out formy petblurrg. She can be a little protective of me sometimes."
"My darling, I
Can’t get enough of your love, babe
Girl, I don’t know, I don’t know why
I can’t get enough of your love, babe"
Can’t get enough of your love, babe
Girl, I don’t know, I don’t know why
I can’t get enough of your love, babe"

Well as paks knows Im going with a unique non-ranger design. The first part was an LE-Repair droid named "Isaac" for the bar. I'll be placing a 3PO named Capt Steubing(sp) in the cockpit. Gophur will be upstairs and if I can pull it off I will have an NPC female vendor named Charo who barks "Choocy Choocy". With all the 70's furniture in game. It shouldnt be to hard to do.

Just a small warning:in beta, I had a few punchbowls disappear from my Nova Courier (fountains labelled Phenix's Punchbowl). It happened twice but it only seemed to happen with that item (all the other stuff I left up there stayed up there). You might want to be careful about leaving stuff you don't want to lose up there for a bit. I haven't heard anyone complain on the boards yet but I'm not really sure what happened to those punchbowls (it's possible they moved somewhere else in the ship but I didn't get time to fully test this). It was bugged with as much detail as I had and it might no longer be a problem but it is worth warning you about. Don't put anything you can't bear to lose up there, at least not right away (I've been holding off on decorating a bit because of this but I'm starting to think it's OK as no one has mentioned anything on the boards that I have seen).
Edit: The disappearances also happened during a period of server instability. So there are lots of possible causes but I just thought a warning was in order.

here's another idea for a room in the yacht.
gather some not so great creature resources, get at least 1 unit of meat, hide, bone, fish, ect.
split off 1 unit off each stack, and drop those 1 unit stacks into the small round room on the lowest level of the yacht near the front of the ship, that can work well as a storage compartment for carrying the spoils of battle.
i put a circular fountain named "A Hot Tub" in mine, in case i can ever convice some cute little female rodian to come for a ride.

If anyone wants to see how I decorated mine, feel free to create a character on Bria, and contact Arkonni
I'm really pleased with how it turned out. And since I'm a TKM, I turned the little circular room at the bottom of the ship into a Meditation area, with a couple of torches

I don't get my yacht till Friday... and we're getting visitors... oh no! So, I'll prolly not be doing any decorating till Sunday. You are all giving me the itch!
Good resource site: http://swg.questloot.com/home.php
Meanwhile, I'm off to run Huff's themepark with a couple of alts and redo the Mat Rag's miniquest. I feel the market in big bony skulls taking an upswing, lol.
Oh, and somebody was looking for speakers? Theres a mission giver in the back room of one of the crashed ship cantinas who gives junk as a reward for doing really simple fetch and carry, go speak, kill the thug missions. I've had three or four speakers, a couple of hooka pipe things and random 'curious' bits of cr*p off him for decorating houses in the past.
Now, where are the screenies of these darned ship interiors??
And, hmm, Paks? You make a habit of going round peeping in windows? /tsk /tsk. Told you before, come on in and join in the fune...

could always try to make a "refugee" ship.
Makes some camps and plant them in a haphazard fashion. Put up a temp ded center with a few droids for repair and disribution and you have a walking aid ship. hehehe.
