Yep,what you postedhas been said before and is on wishlist but it does not hurt saying it over and over again. I keep saying the same thing myself, over and over. If we all squeak loud enough maybe something will be done.

I just posted this in another thread and it is very similiar to your thoughts.

I agree 10,000% with you and have been saying the same thing forever!

Now we just need to get the dev's to listen.

Comando's should be the best at War.

Bounty Hunters should be the best at hunting and killing players and NPC's

Rangers should be the best at HUNTING and KILLING beasts, including any pet creatures.

Comandos and the Bounty Hunters should getMORE incentives, bonuses in rewards and missions etc for killing NPC's and should be discouraged, by reducing rewards for hunting animals. Lets say a XP bonus on NPC missions and a XP reduction on creature missions (Not just on missions, btw). They are after all MELTING the creatures. Thats not the object of a "Hunt"

To balance, do the opposite to Rangers. Reduce NPC rewards and boost for critters. But Rangers should have MUCH greater to hit and DAMAGE to creatures bonuses. Rangers should be able to spot creatures weakspots and crtical hit them. Yes, a Flame Thrower should be devistating to a big critter, it would kill them but you should end up with a burnt pile of ashes not worth much.

This ability, to a lesser extent, should be able to passed on to groups. This would increase our group appeal. The same for Commando's and Bounty Hunters, their NPC bonuses should filter into the group again to a lesser extend. This would have to be additive with the Squad Leaders abilities so as not to nerf them.

Imps with ATST's should fear Commandos and Beast Handlers should fear Rangers.

The creatures of the wild should fear Rangers. As it is now they just gripe to one another about the fancy tents taking up to much grazing land. lol

I had a trap stick on a krayt the other day, i don't know what possesed me to even try but it stuck, i should have got a screen shot because i know no one will believe me but it did.

I still like the idea of a set of ranger weapons, why don't we have our own? Some sort of bow and arrow or something like that. Isn't this supposed to be the future, wouldn't they have some sort of auto tracking missile or something that anyone could pick up and fire? Where is my phaser, i'll set it to stun honest.

I would rather see the Dev's spend time on making the skills we have effective. If given a choice,I would rather see traps develope into an effective, class defining weapon - with LOTS of variety due to experimentation. The more I think about the modular trap idea (posted in other threads), the more appeal it has. The potential, if implemented correctly and with a wide variety of experimentation, is HUGE. I urge you all to give the idea serious thought and post yourideas. We need good discussion on every topic to better prepare a resonable presentation to the Dev's.

I got a plus for being a master ranger... make /conceal a LOT more effective.. I am not talking about creatures.. I am talking about pvp... we are talking about a complex camoflag netting .. "guillie suit" comes to mind.. and since everybody knows that rifleman/ranger are like twins seperated at birth.. how about this:

With /conceal applied to a person they should not only be invisible to creautres but to players as well to an extent of not even being on the radar... to a certain limitation. As in if u are under /conceal and u are prone position then u become non existant on the radar and totally untargetable from a certain distance.. what that may be will have to be decided on whats 'fair'.

More camo.. my guild has of late put up our rebel hq and I say.. that building is the most visible thing from the farthest distance then any other building in our mock player city. I would like to see an ability to maintain camo netting on buildings because such a visible target draws a lot off imperial attention. A daily netting by a high high if not master ranger would conceal the camp at a greater distance as to trick opposing forces.

This would make a ranger much much much more valuable in pvp.. we are in trouble just start camoing ppl up then hit the dirt.... bam gone.. hidden. This would be a seriously welcomed addition to ranger as well as MORE Creature To Hit Bonus's as was stated in earlier. We should be able to get a damage multiplier against creatures not just a to hit bonus.

Traps... what is going on with state effects???????

The only trap thatI noticed that really works is a phenocine dart or an adhesive mesh.. any other state, blind, stun, dizzy they don't do any serious effects to a creature. If a creature is blind he should hit maybe 30% of the time.. and if he is stunned it should double if not tripple his attack speed reaction and if its dizzy he should hit a lot less or be suceptable to a change position attack AT ANY TIME, not a 30 sec cool down.

Lets makes this realistic pls???!!!

Just thought of another thing... as well as haveing the /maskscent and the /conceal abilities.. why not make wearing actual camoflage clothing a part of our hiding abilites... I mean I have seen some novice rangers running around in orange pants and a white shirt..... trust me I don't care if u are under conceal... u are highly visible... now as for some of the other rangers as well as myself... we wear clothing to fit our profession... camo suits for each planet and tatoo color changing for each planet we travel to... We Are The Ranger, its not just a title.

As for a Camo suit, well I use Bio-Engineered Clothing with maskscent/camo atributes. Right now wiht what I wear, I'm at 138 for both skills. If they fixed the whole maskscent/camo issues, it would be awesom.. I should never be noticed when I use my abilites by anything.. and it should break.. and honestly the onlything breaking it are Desert Demons and Kreetles.. Even the Kimogila's didn't break it...
