Thread: Ousted by a DE...
Message Edited by Azrael101 on 02-27-2004 02:52 PM
I have several droids in my datapad, one adv. probot with storage and craftingstation and the mousedroids with storage. It might be 'not so nice' if a crafting profession basically exists that basically mostly does differently looking things to increase our inventory space or the datapad space - ask some crafters how many schematics the have stored, some LOVE that module where they can store schematics on.
But yes, DE's need to get a better state for an eliteprofession than 'suppliers of increased space' and they deserve to get some love with the next publish. Most of us have more than enough customers, the DE's I know spend very little time on their DE profession and much more on the other things they have skills for.

Well, I don't find Droids that useless as some put it here.
I would much rather have a single profession made of one tree make up the Droid handler but I wouldnt call it a Droid handler because that name sickens me. I myself dont mind spending skill points on the ability to use a droid I would make it go like this
{numbers stand for lvl one in the tree}
- Allows the ability to usedroids like the MSE and other non combat droids of lower quality
- allows the use of a low lvl combat droid and some of the higher lvl dorids like power droid
- allows the use of the probot and repair droid along with the surgeon droid
- allows use of the most complacated combat droids and non combat droids whatever they may be
I was a droid engineer once...and then after a nervous breakdown I fled to the wild and returned to nature. Nature being of course my Rodian nature, which is to hunt every creature into extinction!
I think the reason DE is getting the attention right now is because of this "Droid Invasion" that is coming out.

Myth,
That and the addition of milk = more monkey making opportunities for us all.
As for the lovin' - I'm hoping that we'll see a major camp overhaul in the next three months. This is my #1 priority right now.

Pith,
Right now, all I can confirm is that the Outdoorsman stuff that N'Raas and I worked on (he did 99% of the work) did go to the Devs, and they did see it. I'm trying to get them to get us in on Publish 9 or 10, for later April or May. The other two publishes are already in process.
The problem here is that it generally takes 3 months from the say so that "we're making X a priority" to when it gets implemented. So I'm hoping we can see some changes within that time frame. I'll give you guys more info as I get it.
