Thread: Encouraging Rangers?
If your a rifleman then just do what I did... I went to .. ehh.. Endor.. and fought .. crap.. what the hell were they.. the gurreks.. yep.. used supresion fire on them.. and tossed all my traps.. got about 3500 trap xp for one gurreck.. works great!! .. and the traps aren't actually too bad.. they seem to have effects and what not.. make you feel more like a strategist.
I like ranger because I have become filthy stinking rich harvesting hides. I find the only fun in this game is to hunt in a group. When I hunt and the hide is good, I get 100 in good quality hide of which i get 40/cpu. Four Thousand credits for one critter. Times that by6 critters I make 24k per lairon top of what I get from completing the mission. That does not include the free armor or clothes I get as bonuses.
My traps are useful but could be better, I really hope for a knockdown trap or a net launcher. Camps are cool but could be more useful. I love the modular camp idea. The camo is great in a group, less aggros mean easy kills. The tracking is moderately useful.
If your not a ranger and you like to hunt you are missing out.
