I too agree with the group...you gotta go with your feelings. I myself got rid of a portion of the Ranger tree for a bit to expiriment with CM. Problem was I kept getting /tells and emails from ranger friends and others wanting to hunt...you never miss it until it's gone. Well I just dropped everything else and am back working towards Master Ranger. It's not what comes with it...but the relationships I have made by being that quiet ranger in the back of the group...always there for assistance in the hunt or in tracking...or just a good conversation at the campfire.
I may not bring the house firepower-wise...but I dont have to...I'm a Ranger.

change it up i mean grinding ranger is a joke man. Macro tru ur camps buffthen spamtrap some big **edit** and harvest rancs ( if ur super lazy as i am mask scent and go speed bike on dath)done in no time if u miss it u now know the easy way 2 master

p.s dath is the bomb 4 power lv ranger big groups need tents some time and they also work as good tanks

And who the heck is grinding survival? Ug! DON'T DO IT!!!! The easiest way (for me)to get survival xp is to go hunting on Dath with your friends, and don't bring a Doctor. You'll have plenty of time to sit in a camp and goof off with friends until the dead ones swoop back from the cloning facility. 
If you don't really want to drop Ranger you'll have to convince yourself. Try getting a resource contract from an armorsmith or doctor (make sure the resource is on a challenging planet). Organize a big hunting party of your friends/people you like to joke around with. When the evening is over, buy the resources they've harvested and resell it to the armorsmith. This makes for a fun and profitable evening. And if you contstantly track, rescue, and trap and chat it can be EXTREMELY chanllenging anf fun!
Another thing you can do is run a search for threads that have the same topic as yours - I know there has been a lot of people looking for the same thing. And a lot of them were convinced to keep Ranger.

Hey Paks...thanks for having the courage to say how I felt with that last post....thought my computer got crazy on me...that or my eyes...I was looking to buy a few vowels from vanna there for a second.

If you want money ranger is a good profession, ask us docs we need rangers bad. Specialize in avian meat and you're good, just find a doc and hunt for him and one friend only. Then you will have money, free buffs, and fun along the way

Vorpaks I was wondering the same. Did ya watch that Malibu movie last summer(forget the name) where that loser white boy thought he was ghetto? It sounds like he was trying to imitate that guy. Although Ihave no clue what he said, something about us being bombs...

I say, drop the profession. Who cares about what's in your heart or having fun or anything like that? Just do it. If you want to jump then jump. But don't waste my time. You're just an extra mouth to feed anyway. Oh wait, I thought I was trying to persuade someone else not to commit suicide. Ah well.

just slowly drop one skilll at a time as you go up CM or what ever you wanted to get into. then if you start missing ranger stop dropping and get master back your you might find a good balance between rifleman/CM/and ranger
