Agree Korrokk if you ask the people who have seen me with my pets. They know that after attacks they get to do tricks or get treats or at least a "Good boy". As much as I would like to think of them as ,that game we can not mention with round balls and a small furry hamster that shoots lightning(yeah go ahead forum filter i dare ya.. i double dog dare ya), its not. Its about having a fighting companion for the hunts. In the case of my Cu'Pa's Hippie and Wasteland its about seeing the wilderness through their eyes. Its the thrill of finding a Wasteland Cu'pa thats 50% bigger then a normal one and being excited about having a mount no one else has. Or of gathering true oddball pets that never fight. Think Mammoth Jax or Leviasquall for this one.Your right CH suffered because it was the flavor of a couple months. And I stilll think had the popular pets been as small as a quenker we wouldnt have these issues. Thats why my Gurrecks and Gurrcats are perfect pets. Big enough to see but not big enough to annoy.

JB is a Master Pistoleer who also uses either Hammer, his Probot fighting droid orBun-Bun, an R3 tank who fights fairly well for a little fella.
He is also known to carry at least 4 pistols in his tool bar - Modified Blaster, Lightweight FW, Scout (fast fast fast) and a DX-10. Someplace in his pack are backups. Powerups areready, as are 3 setsof Pdarts and 1 set of Glowwire. Brandy and accargarm (sp) are also ready to rock. Oh yeah, some kick butt stim Bs too.

Tried creature handler, and quickly got annoyed how passive it was for my personal gameplay.
I have a carrion spat (palaeopteryx) and a combat droid (beelzebot) thats all i really need.
I whack the critters with my pike, while my droid plinks away in safety. every little bit helps.
