Thanks guys, this is all really great stuff. I am currently 4043 hehe - the dreaded survival xp to come, but ill do it, maybe ill go learn how to fish...
I have done ranger once before as a Holo, but of course i dropped it soon after (3-4 weeks) for another one, but not this time!!! its a truly great profession (and special because most people are not them 
)

I was just thinking about how I've been hunting recently. A good way to learn areas on the less adventuresome planets these days is to go city hopping. Player cities are dotted all over dantooine, Lok, and the starter planets. You can run missions and wander/hunt the perimeters of these cities so that they act as a reference for you. I was hunting out of Mos Vegas when I saw those Krayts... Freedom is right by the river where all the kimos spawn... The cities will eventually move or fade away, but your knowledge of the area will remain.
