I dont think we ever stepped out of line. Even if people disagreed most of just asked them why and gave them our more experienced take on things.
Big thank you to everyone who posted, discussed and contributed to getting these changes added, we got changes!
Now we need to same effort to test them out
2:30am here more or less and ive just got back in off the lash so ill grab some sleep, take the gf to the airport in the morning then head to TC to hopefully group up with everyone and have fun
Once again thanks heh

i don't doubt that we helped. I think perhaps Owen helped a lot with posts on the corr forums. But I honestly think we blindsided them with the quickness and fierceness of our posts. The fact that we were in four places at once and just showing the fallacy of the original system was like an explosion of logic. I really don't think they had considered that anyone would protest the change. We did, and we did in a way that forced them to take notice. Owen deserves a lot of the credit, no doubt, since I'm sure he did his part on the Corr. forum, but I think we did our part too.

lol....we'd have to toss out logic and reasoning for that to happen.
I find it funny that posting something that is logical and disproves the other person's reasoning is considered flaming.

Great job guys! All of you who contributed to the good fight should be proud. A special thanks to Owen, Calc and the many other correspondents who supported our cause.

Well done to the Corries!! And the rest of the Ranger community that argued so levelly and nicely.
Glad the change is going through, looking forward to getting some big fat harvests off beasties tomorrow. Wonder if we've got any chance of finding some veghash...
OK, its, omg, 3:40 for me, so am heading for bed.
If anyones in-game in about 8 hours time, drop me an ingame mail and we'll go hunt. ROFL< it's the one thing I'been waiting for and I've still not managed to do it.

I'm sorry, but I can't get excited about this. After all we've been through, I won't believe it's official until the effects are seen on the economies of the game, and then the change stays. So maybe three months into it.

well, good job everyone. We did it. I know my arguments probably weren't as scholarly as some of you, but I definitely gave it my all in the TestCenter updates thread. This is cool.

Very nice. We'll see how this works out on TC, but these changes are much better than the original concept.

Well some thing I do notsee eye to eyewith your correspondent and his petson (/wink )but I think this is a good change and pretty much most of us pushed for some ranger love with it even in other boards. Glad to see they took into consideration the need to avoid a Ranger-O-bot . Hopefully you will see more love soon.
