Mwahahaha!
Actually I was dismayed to note that my "star rating given" is 4.9. I must have been mean to someone at some point in my career.

What's the deal? I come onto read the boards, and most of it lately has been flaming and belittleing. And it has been from some of the poeple I would absolutely least expect. Are we being reduced to the next bh/jedi? Damn I hope not. The Ranger community has been the standard for Honor, Integrity, and Professionalismeven through all the crap we have had to put up with. We've been strong and stuck together through it all. We shared and discussed ideas even when they may have made no sense at all, and when they didn't we gave our constructive criticism. Look at us now. Someone expresses an opinion and they get slammed. Then it all turns into a argument over a video game. I know things now are tough and there are people who are stressing about possible upcoming changes...I would too, but damn its wrong to let one thing change who we are.
Good post.
In response to the emphasised bit, I found myself as the butt of a lot of it. I was starting to feel as if I couldn't carry on posting here, but I decided not to be pushed out, hopefullystuff like thiswon't happen again. Fingers crossed anyway.
Agreed, that is something that really causes a lot of negative feelings.

But its a phase we all go through we'll grow out of it.
I seriously think that if you expect something from the CURB, you will be disapointed... What we should be asking for now, is our own re-vamp.

I just didnt like that you were acting like an absolute victim and claimed to be getting 'ganged up' on. It wasnt the case.
And yeah best to get it out our system now and hopefully the most of it has passed.

Not entirely true... you'll get something out of it, so will I. So will many. It's just that our RANGER sides won't get anything out of it. Your Pikegirl half will benefit tho, as will my Rifleman side. That's what I really love about Ranger actually - we can all do the same stuff, but in so MANY different ways. I'm not limited to "only" using a particular weapon, or a particular play style. If I want to hunt and harvest, grab a combat prof and have at it. If I decide to drop rifles at some point and go CH, so much better for me with camo, tracking and TN. Same with BE. Ranger may not be currently viewed as a "combat prof" like TKM, Pikegirl, Rifleboy, CHWookie or whatever else

How did I miss this.... I have a vague recollection that a Dev answered this question before. The answer was;"Ranger is not a combat profession".

Congrats guys on getting some much needed love from the Devs.
Even though i'm not a Ranger anymore. Iam actually a Bounty Hunter now (please don't flame me, but i just want to pvp for now, so i went pistoleer/BH).
In spite of the arguments, and heated discussions, you guys finally got a great patch for yourselves.
And with today's even better improvement of rewarding the Master Rangers, it's just nice to see the devs caring for the Rangers.
/rodianhug Rangers
yes, i said /rodianhug. Why would i want to /wookieehug? i might as well just type in /walkingcarpethug

Great Video, I just can't say how much I can identify with it. That exactly what I feel.
