OK, so I'm a Carbineer.....I like to think of it as brave rather than foolish.

Wasn't this kind of bleedstacking removed in february or so?

Jaxus im a master sword/ranger. Love the combo myself since it gives you kinectic and blast. TK was a great profession for a ranger but you were always hurt by the limited damage types

Why that?

Healthshot2 as of current state of the game has a higher damage mod with 3.0 than bodyshot2 with 2.1 (was changed in february or march, short after the removal of bleedstacking ala /healthshot2; /healthshot1) and has just a .1 higher delay mod.

You really should play a rifleman a bit to get some ideas how the profession actually works opposing to your wrong preconceptions about it, riflemen ofc can move while shooting.

True rifles can move and shoot... pretty lame if they couldnt. And all this bleed stacking bodyshot nonsense... if your a rifles ... strafe2 .. strafe2 and youve killed all the spawn and the lair before it gets anywhere near to you ! Job done..

OK -

Rifles suffer more than pistols while moving and shooting. Of course they "can" move and shoot, but wave bye bye to accuracy. Pistols do not suffer as much degradation in accuracy. Rifles are designed to be fired stationary, with the ranges set currently, pistols need to be fired on the move.

Stacking - gee golly - shoot two healthshots into beastie, and I am still seeing two bleeds. What they nerfed was the way damage is proportioned. Was small shot damage, large bleed. Now it's major shot damage, smaller bleed damage. I think, pretty sure, both bleeds effect, and if not, then the one with most damage stays in place. Regardless, it's a good shot.

Bodyshot - Ok, more HAM than HS. But --- personal observation only --- some creatures drop like flies with bodyshot. Gurrecks for example. Other creatures - Lantern birds -- healthshots work best. I have no earthly clue on why, just does. Torturs die quickly with stopping shot for that matter. Kreetles, I love to bodyshot kreetles. Rasps, I always healthshoot, make em bleed they little turds.

Finally - while I do own one uber l33t pistol (Krayt FW, 300+ damage, spd 1.4, w/o powerups), 99.99% of the time I use either a DX, a stock FW or a Rep Blaster. Scout Blaster to take down lairs, less HAM cost. Average pistol price on my server is 11k. I have many stocked in my house. 2 containers worth. I checked the prices on rifles - yikes. Carbines are not half as bad, tho catering to the BH peoples, the prices are higher.

Besides, for a time I was gonna be a smuggler. So I went pistols and fell in lust.

Pistols with BG pistolers tree ive found to be really really nice The added speed and accuracy fro mthe BH line really boost a standard master pistoleer. Unfortunately this also eats skill points :/

As I have played a rifleman for quite a while, I can tell you they maybe *should* get a bad hit on accuracy when moving, however at master a rifleman has such a high accuracy that it doesn't matter at all for shooting at low-defense targets, like all creatures in this game.

You even rarely miss a defense stacking pvp-template while burstrunning.

Hyro runs this combination as well. Swordsmen doa ton of damage, and can do it quickly. Not long on PvP, at least not the way I am playing him, he does pretty well clean house currently vs. environment, with only Master Swordsman, and (1) two-hand speed SEA for a boost of +1 speed. Hoo-hah.

I have made some changes in my template plans, now I plan on retaining Master Ranger when I get there, and gaining the additional two-hand speed from the Force Sensitive quests. Had some old man drop in on my camp the other night, and have been told to expect some rather inept ruffians to be tracking me. They better have a darn good droid for that, as I've gone to ground in the lowlands of southern Dantooine...

I'll second this. I used to use my rifle in the same way JB uses his pistol (except that I used ranged support instead of traps--it was faster). You don't miss as a rifleman (although you do want stuff to stay outside of 20m if you want different states to stick).
