- Do not take contracts from individuals: Contact BE's and docs and ask them to put you on a supplier list if they have one. If they don't they will usually tell you who to contact. The buyer will tell you what theyre buying and at what price usually in a formatted email. You hunt at your own pace and drop off without being nagged to fulfill a 100k tat avian order by Friday and have to hunt dwarf nunas for 18 hrs a day or get a bad reputatiuon.
- Make yourself unsearchable: In your character sheet where you can search for other players, you can turn off the abilty for others to search for you. If you find that you're constantly getting bombarded with tells asking you to track for people, turn it off with the checkbox.
The first one is HUGE. If you take a "contract" you're putting yourself to "work." And as we all know, working is less fun than playing. Never, ever, take a contract.
The second one is big too. It's even better if you just don't wear your Ranger title, especially around Coronet. All my guildmates know I'm a Ranger, all my other friends know I'm a Ranger. Some of the buyers know too. Better to be anything but a Ranger when you're walking through Coronet. I used to get the worst spam tells there. If you're on Sunrunner and you're looking for a Ranger, check for people wearing green camoflauge.
