I made my first million on endorian wild milk. Milk a swirl prong, kill a swirl prong, /harvest milk on a dead swirl prong. Repeat until you have about 12 or 13k units and can't possibly go on, even though you told yourself you were aiming for 20k. A lot of people want milk on naritus and it usually goes for a decent price (even the low quality stuff), but 90% of the creatures I milk start running and eventually warp too far away to finish milking, so it takes multiple tries. It is very annoying, to say the least. I'm financially comfortable at the moment, not uber-wealthy but got enough in the bank to keep me in armor and brandy, so I'm free to hunt whatever I like. (I'm a TKA, so I burn through ubese rather quickly.) I seriously doubt I would ever harvest milk in bulk again, unless one of my regular (and trusted) buyers really needed it and was paying well for it.
Anyway, now I have the 'luxury'of gettingmy focus back to the frontiering tree. Just 10k xp away from my first field base... sigh.

Endorian Herbi: I love endor and i love hunting avians (birds). They drop herbi meat but that wasnt my objective, i just love hunting birds.
-=OR=-
Yavanian Carnivor: Yavin is another nice planet and lots of nice creatures to hum, good yeilds too.

Tat avian. Even though the hill I have my house on seems to be nuna central.
Having said that it's the closest I get to afk'ing.
Old suit of tin plate on*, any old pistol. Walk into the lair and just blast it till they attack. Stand there on autodef till all the birdies are toast. /ha meat /ha meat /ha meat.
Rinse wash and repeat. Mindless. Dull. AND I turn my ranger tag off when am doing it as it just makes me feel like am doing something wrong.
* cos I got triple incapped by one lair when I DID wander off afk for a few minutes once, and it was nearly as embarrassing as when I was Novice Commando and got a&&hatted by womp rats IN my house.

Remembering a very early SWG cartoon
"But dude at least the butterfly that killed you was healthy. The bird that killed me was diseased and sickly" (paraphrased from a very weak memory)

Pretty much the first mission I ever took, after somebody pointed out that, even as an artisan I could take hunting missions for coin, was to get 45 Tat Mynocks. I had ZERO idea about lairs, aggro mobs, absolute squat.
WALKED away out in the desert with my trusty CDEF rifle and, first nest I found, attacked it, ended up flat on my back watching the little timer... less than five minutes later I was back in Espa, in the clone bay, thinking "Oh **ck, am never going t get the hang of this **sing game.
Stuck with it tho. Learned about lairs, learned about drawing off a critter. Got thos 45 mynocks and my 2500cr purse.
Anyhow, aaaaaaaaages later. Months. I made my first trip to Lok, as part of a weekend just POI hunting and sightseeing. (Way before the recent outbreak of Badgers Fever). I took a couple of missions. Oh look, mynocks...
y'know, I think maybe it's me. I'm just really crap at shooting anything with a beak.

Tat Avian, I once gathered 5k units @ 500 units per hour. Ten hours /sob. Couldn't sell it for a price that reflected the effort involved in getting it, so I gave it a guild doc who said she might make some cheap buffs with it

I remember that shift. I got about 10k of that stuff. I didn't touch galaxies for two weeks after that and had to spend as much time socialising as possible in those two weeks to stop me going stark raving mad!!
