The only thing I envy with master rifle, is the lack of any KD shot. Pistols & Carbine have 'em, I think not adding them to rifles was a serious oversight..
For Carbines it's chargeshot1 and 2, but what about for Pistols? (I am ashamed to say that I was a Master Pistoleer for overfive months and I have no recollection of a KD special, and if there was one... I can't remember if I could ever get it to work on my targets... By the way is disarm shot still "borken"? ![]()

Thx, Xin
Ps, Question: I'm going 4/0/0/4 markman, is it worth it?

Given the rifle's advantages, I think adding a knockdown shot would have been some serious overkill.

Pistol Melee Defense 1 and 2(in the Stances line) is a melee range KD.

If you guys like rifles you are going to LOVE Master Rifles.QFEwhen a Master showed me how he could blast voritors unbuffed before they could get to him, i doubled my grinding efforts because then i really new i had chosen the right path. and i wanted that speed SO bad! lol
reQFE
First combat profession I ever mastered was Rifleman. Boy was it sweet too. My mind just couldnt keep up. I always felt good about carrying my rifle around. Now that I am TKM I just cant stand standing there with my knuckler showing when not in combat. Makes me feel all FOTMish. So, I unequip it and never ever wear my TKM tag.
I do miss Rifleman tho... and more I miss Ranger. I had to drop Ranger for other pursuits now that I am entering the final stretch towards Jedi. I can hardly wait to open my alt up so I can return to Ranger Rifleman! Woot

Headshot 3 or Strafeshot 2. Nuff said on lack of KD.
Rifleman was my first combat profession mastered. Draknev was the first to hear me state my regrets for dropping it for a melee profession. I have sinced rectified this and am now 4-0-2-4 rifleman. The funny thing is how much faster I can get through the skill boxes now that we have buffs, and things like armor, and foods that aid in combat. I have screenies of Drak and I going through our combat professions not long after launch in nothing but a pair of camos and spec ops duster.
And yes I walked uphill both ways on the way to do it!! ![]()

Thank you Ranger Riflemen for inspiring me !!, XinPs, Xinea is "stuck" with pikes.... Can't change her past (bio).
Ha! Mission complete.
No, really, good luck. Rifle takes a much different style of play than you are probably used to, but it's worth it.
