Thread: Two part question: Are P-Darts supposed to do this? and Why can't I get any Krayt loot?
Heh, I've noticed no such thing like this... I grinded out Trapping IV for scout using no darts. Just wire meshes... Yes, that's it.
Speaking on all these krayt (t)issues... What kind of damage output would it take to bring down a krayt on my own? I'm but level 21, with 150 dps. Given I had some method to restrain them. Even though I don't. Because there is nothing like that in the game. But if I did, would I stand a chance?
PS - Noob post, forgive me.
currently, i am not aware of much of any krayt loot drops even close to the graveyard. You need to find some in other places....I heard one ranger found one while walking to Jabbas and was rewarded by a good pearl, and a bunch of tissues

Recnetly, I have been able to stick a creature down with one P-Dart instead of two.
I think this has caused it:
- Having an attack as the auto-attack (holding ctrl and clicking the left mouse button on the toolbar icon.)
- Throwing a trap to initiate combat, and allowing the auto-attack to deal damage right after the trap sticks (and it must stick that first time!)
- Being out of range of the creature's attacks for at least 5 seconds.
The creatures sometimes move a few meters before stopping, and sometimes they don't perma-root the way I described above, but they almost always have in that situation.
Once just before the CU I got two (2) pearls off one (1) dragon. Any one else ever have this happen?
After feeding the krayt a pop-tart or two all seemed okay.
I laided down in front of it and proceeded to shoot it with my Minolta T-21 camera I got off many great shots.
Then some clown came by and offered to help with my Photo shoot. I said no thanks I have this covered. Well he wnated shots of his own.
The Krayt became angry and chased this new Photographer all over eventually eating him while I pondered making new Pop tarts.
After feeding the Krayt more pop tarts. I noticed the do not feed the Krayt sign but alas it was to late.
As I walked back to a new location to take more Photos with my T-21 I walked behind a rock and lost view of the Krayt.
The Krayt became frantic and ran from me looking for more Pop tarts.
Being the nice Ranger and slightly anti-social, I ignored the Do not feed the Krayt sign and promptly fed the Krayt more Pop tarts.
It seemed like every time I lost view ofa Krayt and broke LOSit would go into retreat mode.
Now either these Krayts are very hungry and just love Pop tarts, or they miss me and cannot stand to be out of mu sight.
breaking LoS will break any effect that pop-tarts might have on a creature. sometimes, recieving damage from another creature will do the same. I noticed yesterday that when I fed some rancors a pop-tart or two, then told my droid to shoot them, they wouldn't just be complacent and let the droid shoot them. However, if I fed the rancors the pop-tarts then shot a few times and then told the droid to shoot them, they'd be fine with it.
oh well.
