4K Rifles, some Trapping, 400 combat, harvesting exp and would I get pistols for being SL or do I have to use a pistol for that?

Okidoke, I can handle that. Does trapping exp take from overall exp?

Using a trap in a fight will take away from the weapons xp gained in that fight, but not from combat xp (I think).

Edit-the xp taken away from the weapon will be trapping xp instead.

convince you to go Ranger. Hrm. Even with the CU, we can go out and pwn up on 80+ creatures without breaking a sweat (and no armor either! makes my lekku all shrively, I hate it...) You get the, "woah, nice camp man. Master Ranger? That is awesome! I remember those days..." (and we get another ranger added to our ranks) Or the "Can you help me out here please," says the lil' lady in distress, and then you rush in, through some traps (just to look cool) step in front of her, and let the nuna smack up on ya. Then later on get married and...wait a minute! you are a chick in game. BLASTED! Ahh well, you get the picture

If you need convince'n to become a Ranger then you will never be one. Naw just kidding around, Our pop-tart will not last forever, so if you are here just for that, it won't be worth it to you. I can't even take advantage of the darn thing since I am melee .

Ohhh.....how bout this.....Job security. Think about it.....400 Jedi per server (and that is prob way low).....and how many master rangers????prob less than 40... I dare say less than 20 is the average. Why??? Cause we are elite. We are masters of the wild. Even if the others do not admit it, they see our title and say oooowwwwww. I have made 13 million in the last week. I have met some of the best players in the game...(other Rangers),,,If we want to group....people beg us to group. If we want to go solo.....we are capable. When is the last time someone asked a Jedi to track the Hero boar on Tat? Where is their precious force now? True, we may not be as capable in PvP... (though some of us hold our own)..... But we are elite in PvE. A master Defender is hard presses to take 2 krayt ancients at the same time.....but this is nothing new to us. Yes, as a ranger you are bound by law to hunt a krayt and have some spoonfed Jedi come to you and say "that is an exploit....I am going to report you..." actually I am not sure if they truly give you the rank of Master Ranger unless that has happened to you.... (JB, do you know?)...lol. We do not need to convince you to go Ranger....because we prefer quality over quantity. We are the most elite profession out there. But it takes a special kind of person to be one of us.... (please do not misunderstand),.......all are invited...... but only a few survive. Ranger is not a job....It is a lifestyle. (of rather a gamestyle...lol)

Well I must confess, I'll be using my token respec to become a ranger, partly due to the bugged trapping exp, but also as I worked up Master Ranger on another character about 18 months ago so I consider myself to have done the grind already

Quick question though, will MRanger, BH 3444, SL0400 be L80?

Most likely. I got cl 80 with master ranger, bh 0/4/3/0, pistolier 4/0/0/4. Not two elite masteries, nor even 1 elite mastery and 4 full elite prof trees. I would be very surprised if your planned template wasn't cl 80.
