Well i know about the fallan hyper-rifle thats from etyyy. Wouldnt call it a ranger rifle tho. Is it this or is it something else?

And does it say that only Master Rangers can use it? Because if not then it is not a Ranger weapon...just a perffered weapon used to hunt with.

Rangers lead the way.

A Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air. I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier.

Aaargh, I KNEW i should have killed him.. its just that stupid village is treating me like a bloody rebel, and you just get stuck in the goody twoshoes mode for the duration. I came there as a dark jedi imperial and I wouldn't think twice about enslaving their overgrown hamster race, and covering their planet in concrete.. but no.. I look trustworthy

I'm dumping ranger on one of my alts cause it simply takes up to much sp. With creature harvesting foods I can "somewhat" come close to that of a near master ranger when creature harvesting with regularscout skills. I dont understand why Ranger is the only elite master profession that still requires a master basic profession. Oh well..

It's because its the best proffesion (well lifestyle but u kno what i mean) or at least i personallythink it is!

That is true however its a well proven fact that once can live the lifestyle without the SP cost and come out ahead.

quite true, i still want that Master Ranger title sitting on my character.

I dont either. Maybe to keep creature resouces low in the economy? Its certainly not anything we as a group have done to influence the DEVS we may like to think so though.

As it stands I am also thinking of dumping/re-spec my alt from Ranger

Dont get me wrong Ranger is very cool for RPand sense of pride/lifestyle etcbut the benefits DO NOT outweigh the skill point investment.

Master Rangers are very veryrare now, very few players even dabbleand so we receive little to zero DEV activity, if you want a better Ranger prof (and I do) then getting more players into Ranger is a must and to do that we need to belike ALL the other elite Profs skill costs.

My humble opinion is that we are hurting ourselves more the way we are.

so ur saying its our fault the devs base how much fixing and revamping a proffesion gets by popularity? We dont need more people in the prof what we need is for the devs to change the way they run SWG. Just cuz were minority we get shoved to the side.....but personly i hope they dont fix the P-darts those things kick a$$ but the adhesive mesh does need t be changed ithink if they fixed our traps we'd have a much easier time taking down stuff....everything else they can wait on.....mayb the camping repel thing would b good to...but id work mainly on trapping if it was me. And the way trapping xp is now such a hard time to do...i think that keeps the dabblers and the for lack of a better word posers out....i like ranger just the way it is...just need trapping fix

Rangers are pretty much a support profession. Yeah,I pretty much get stomped in PvP but I don't really care anyway. Granted,we are notbe the King God Damage Dealer but we still do some pretty neat things in support of others.

We snag resources for artisans.

We keep our teammates camoflauged.

We find those impossible to find animals/NPCs/Players for other people.

We run over mountains like freaking gazelles. Heckas a master ranger I think i can run up a steep incline faster than I can speederbike up one.

Need some entertainer healing in the field, we pitch a camp.

Need a quick buff just to get you through, we forage better than a hog for truffles. Though, it would be nice if everything you foraged was not the samemeager +49/50 buff.

Traps are just plain fun. Especially when your droid does it for you.

+15 camo pants, shirt and jacket with camo goingmeans you can /hug and /kiss those bull rancors without them biting your head off. If you enjoy things like that. Sometimes spending days alone in the wilderness makes people do odd things.

Oh, you aren't alone in doing odd things like that. One of the highlights of my career involved using my camo to walk up to a krayt ancient and give it a friendly pat on the head. (Actually, the REAL highlight was when a fellow guildie tried the same thing and got used as chewing gum by the dragon. I suppose it shows a mean streak that I was convulsing with laughter from his misfortune....)
