Endor has fairly plentiful shuttle drop offs. FWIW, I have only witnessed a drop off once, but I have decimated many Stormtrooper squads that were silly enough to give me guff.

These things seem to like landing on me... usually after I shoot one of their probe droids. 
I looked and looked through my screenshots for the first shuttle I caught while landing, dropping off troops and leaving but I think I deleted them ater I realized they were a fairly common occurence.
I tired to get my kimogilla to attack the shuttle once, hoping it had guns or something on it... but it wouldn't attack.
He ate up all the stormies though.
