Are all BHs l33t and Uber 13 year old virgin males with zits; or are the majority of them riders of the short bus?

What's the advantage to being a BH? You can't harvest for crap, you must spend tons of money on weapons and armor every week, your missions suck, and all you are really good for is PvP, which is broke. The vast majority of BHs can't fight without armor and buffs, and seem to think standing in one spot spamming specials is combat.

You are probably not smart enough to be a Ranger, as you can't figure out what we do. We all know that BHs are essentially useless, unless you want someone to run in, kill a bunch of stuff, and then you get Medic XP healing them. You would also have to master scout, which was dropped as a requirement to BH as they (the BHs) all cried and whined for months about it.

No, you really can't macro most of the Scout and Ranger trees, you actually have to play it. Unlike BH, 3 trees macroable.

We are more rare than Jedi, and judging from the amount of tells I get from them and others, more needed. Certainly more profitable.

But alas, we are overlooked, underpayed, unwashed and unloved. This profession sucks, truly it does. No fun at all. Remain a BH.

JB

/sarcasm off - he won't notice anyhow, I used big words and he quit reading after he saw you can't macro the prof.

JB whatever your views a specific bounty hunter, please don't don't bring this forum down to the level of the jedi forums where its a constant whining. We're rangers - its great fun - nothing to be bitter about.

Actually hes one of us who has earned the right to vent every so often. I know what your saying and I agree. But JB just has to vent some steam or we will have an explosion of jedi macro posts that would take up 10 pages

BHs are the whiniest bunch of crybabys ever to hit SWG. We finally got rid of them in the Scout forums as they don't have to master and Brisc posted how to get their one tree really fast.

Now they tend to wander in here once a week and all ask the same stupid question about tracking and if they get it, will they be able to see their mark on Endor if they are standing on Dathomir or somesuch crap.

Then they see they have to master Scout and whine more how it is unfair.

Quite honestly, there are several BHs in my guild, all so not 13 yrs old (well one is 16 but we have him in control) and all so able to use tactics and smarts to do missions. Yes, I will help them, and have. They work within their profession boundaries, ask intelligent questions, and above all - don't whine on the forums. One has taken to berating the morons there on the BH forum, gotta love it.

If you have been around for any length of time, you will realize that 90% or more of the BHs are useless 13 yr old male virgin wanna-be Boobie Fetts more interested in a body count and then telling the world how the "pnwed joo" than playing the game cooperatively.

That and they have no sense of humor and are easy to bait.

I absolutely love being a Ranger. I don't really mind tracking for people .... the only problem is that most often I get requests for tracking where they "want it now" and I am usually in the middle of working a contract. It would be nice if people would "schedule" tracking time with rangers, but I don't see that changing with the mindset of most players.

I WILL NOT, and have several times refused (even being polite have almost had to argue with persistent players) ... repeat WILL NOT track Jedi .... after all Rangers - particularly Antarian Rangers - were the "protectors" of the Jedi.

As for yourself ... if you really have the extra points, you could train in tracking, but you have to master scout in order to go up the Ranger tracking tree to obtain the ability to track players ... lots of points would be needed. However, I agree with someone else who posted that it would be better to simply hire a ranger to track people for you ... if you can get one who is willing to do so (assuming it is Jedi you wish to track) - afterall, most rangers are honorable people with integrity and the spirit of the Antarian Rangers.

BTW - I hold nothing against bounty hunters - they too have their place in this Universe

Now if you want to role play that part remember this. If your a TK it overrides your Antarian side and its set in your heart that you will kill all jedi. Since the jedi killed the original masters of the Tera Kasi and wiped out their planet (if Im remembering that right)

well, reading through the responses, i found one noticeable ommision from what it is we do.

We can apply Camoflague to ourselves, and others. Cammo works similar to maskscent, whereas we can walk to up aggressive animals and there is a chance they won't detect us. but cammo also works against NPCs. It does not work against other players, but it's great against tougher high-end NPCs as long as the cammo works. I also use cammo when i'm out on hunting trips with my Master Bio-Engineer friend. I'll apply cammo to her, then she can walk right up to things like Merek Harvesters on Endor, and sample REALLY good DNA off of them.

but personally, if i were you, i'd spend skill points this way:

Novice Medic (you can find really good Advanced Stim B's that even a novice Medic can use)
Then i'd spend any remaining skill points in another combat profession, as typically by itself MBH isn't the best combat profession around. You won't have enough to get very far into a melee profession, so my suggestion would be either go into Pistoleer or Rifleman. I was an MBH for a bit, and it was a real pain because of the lack of defense, so I mixed it up with a bit of pistols.

also, unless you're hell-bent on remaining a Master BH, if i were you, I would drop the all 4 skill boxes from Bounty Hunter Carbines, and spend those skill points elsewhere. possibly even dropping investigation 4 sicne you only need investigation 3 to pull Jedi bounties.

Yes, alive and kicking butt

When I am skint I make lots of money selling the resources I have gathered from the creatures I have killed.

Tracking would be usefull if you have the spare SP.
