Sweet! Thanks for getting the news to us so quickly. Of course, now we just have to wait for the fix to make from the TC to us. But I'm happy knowing it's coming

Area Track changes are quite nice, so is the harvesting issue. About the only thing left that Area Track really needs is a nicer interface to work with.If that gets done thenitwill be tuned just fine...after that, all we need is our other tracking ability to be added in to complete that branch of the Ranger tree.

Now if we can just get some conceal improvements(I figure that will be a next big patch thing though) and our current set of newly added stuff will be working fine IMHO.

One point in this patch that I think is a problem is the fact that we will no longer be able to track pets. I thought that was something that was good about area track. My PA loved when I would stumble across some IMPs pets and then we could follow them around and attack. It was great and one thing that made me useful in the group. Now we are losing this ability. I agree that we do not need to pick up signs and vendors, but pets was not a bad thing to pickup on area track. I would really like to see us get this back and we haven't even really lost it yet. Anyone else have any opinions on this?

Tracking something requires you to stop and observe for tracks. Tracks don't always look like bigfoot plaster-of-paris casts stomping along like railroad tracks. Sometimes there's nothing to track if the animal is moving on hard ground or rocks, and you have to search around to see where they disturbed the ground. Tracking is the art of studying the ground and the foliage. Then you try and determine what direction it's moving in, move in that direction, and resume tracking to confirm you're on your way. Oftentimes you can guess from the geography where the thing you're tracking is headed and just go there, ex: if there's a watering hole or grotto or field, depending on what the animal likes to hang out in. So tracking does require you to stop, a lot longer than 15 seconds, and resume.
