Its a pity a master ranger's track range is the same as someone who just has tracking 4.... You would think there would be some incentive to go master....

Yeah, 500m is the max, but I've tracked outside 500 too. I tracked a Krayt at 508m last night and there were a few creatures that were around 502-505m, in other directions, in the same track. Maybe it was a clear day.

In my opinion, Master Rangers should be able to track to a max of 1KM. I mean, they are masters. 500m is nothing for that limited range.
