Thread: Favorite stomping grounds?
Preferred Naboo as a novice, and Dath was just somewhere to go to 'work'. Lok? Bleh, its, naaah, doesn't do it for me. Dantooine? Uh, yeah, gimme a buff and a solo group, just so I fit in with the rest of the cool doods...
Actually, I've got a favourite stomping ground on most planets. THey almost all have something to offer and they are all so very different.
With all the the urban sprawl though it's kinda lost its appeal. My new love is Yavin

i couldn't agree more Owen. That is by far the best area in the game. a friend of mine had an in-game wedding there in the fenced garden near the bridge across the river to the shuttle. myself and a friend went into the waterfall after the wedding and launched crates of fireworks.
as far as hunting goes, i'll have ot agree with most the rangers' posts, and say that Endor is my favorite. There is such a wide variety of terrain, scenery, and creatures. there's a desert, large open plains, thick forests, and large mountains. there's also neat POIs like the Ewok Tree Villages (one of them is overrun with Death Watch and SBDs) the Ewok Lake Village (one of my favorite POIs in the game) and the Maurader base (where you get the neat armor for doing missions for them)
Lok would be my second favorite. Which is why i built my city there. has great background music, has a sort of danger to it, because of things like Kimos, Nym's Guards, and assorted pirates. Also has some great scenery like the Volcano to the South East. I placed our city hall roughly 3km south west of nym's stronghold, so it's just a short swoop or Dewback ride from Nym's. Unfortunatly, I declared open war on Nym, so all of his guards attack me on sight. i just felt that it was wrong that Nym had a Monopoly on traffic in and out of Lok. Why should that rebel-loving pirate get to say who comes and goes on Lok? Well, luckily i can hop in my TIE bomber and trash his X-Wings in space now.
After Lok i'd say Yavin. Lots of great creatures there, and arguably the coolest looking creature in the game (The Woolamander). I need to pet Woolamander to follow me around. I also love the Temple of the blue leaf. i grinded TKA there alot. Such a beautiful temple on the inside, and occasionally loot some good kliknik segments to sell to my Armorsmith friend that makes oddball armor. She actually makes and sells Chittin Armor, and other of the lower end armors. but she makes AMAZING stats on this stuff. My Swordsman/Doctor friend uses her Chittin armor all the time just because he loves how it looks. but there i go rambling...
