Wow that would be like every kinda slow man. Don't even worry about scout xp, its got to be one of the easiest XPs to get.
Scout XP for harvesting gets bigger the more you harvest. So being in a group is a good thing, as is Veghash.
Hang out if front of the Eisley cantina and join or start a Squill hunt. Your looking for the 10k missons. Just being a Novice Ranger means you give every one in your group a 30% harvest bonus so people will be triping over them selves to get you on board.
