Oh ya and for avoiding them I just have my radar very big at 128 m, with the con thing checked. With the above I can make it through the area really well.

/ar is kinda iffy if there are single targets that can whoop the crap out of you is seconds hehehe. Well at least in this case.

I have it at 256m (even further)... Yet it doesn't show until you're on top of it.

I think one of the server performance fixes in last few months reduced the spawning area from 500m (which was generally accepted as the old radius, hence the 500m tracking radius) to more like 100m. I am not sure if this was intentional or not, but it is a pain.

I've found that having your radar set to anything higher than 128 is useless. The server dosn't seem to comunicate the presence of anything to you outside this range (unless you have passed them). Well 'sept for /ar.

I've found that thinking in terms of "its there but the server hasn't told my client about it yet" works out better than thinking in terms of the server "spawing" things. I can often go back hours latter and find those spawns sitting righ where I left them.

And every one of them will stalk you... the Ancients are just a little better at closing the gap before you can lose them.
