Thread: Anyone Get a Holocron telling them to MASTER RANGER?

Out of curiosity... where have you guys been finding these cubes at?
Well, I will give you some of the answer. I have no desire to be a Jedi, but it should be at least common knowledge which mobs you have to kill to get one.
The thing is, for neutrals it's much harder to get them, since it involves killing the Nightsister Witches on Dathomir. They don't die easy. Any Force Sensitive mob you can track anywhere drops them.
There is also the Force Cystal Cave on Dantooine, but it's currently a camp fest. Also on Dantooine, if you can track people, look for anything "Force Sensitive", or "Dark Jedi". (you will need a good group)
So, if you are a Rebel, kill Imperial Surface Marshalls, and the very elusive Dark Troopers.
I don't know who else drop them, but I know people have gotten them off the above mobs. None of them are easy kills.
I have many more hints as to how you can get them, but I fear posting publicly. Send me a PM, and I'll send you the NPC who gives the quest so you don't have to camp these spawns. You need to be a Rebel though.
Still working on my 1st holocron of master ranger - 3,2,4,4
Not long to go
Anyone know what comes after ranger?
Jolandir
I suggest your friend goes out and gets 4 or 5 holocrons and keeps them safe, maybe even 4 of each sith and jedi
Then wait until people unlock the fscs (many can unlock it, but only few will make jedi) and then people will notice a pattern, like the devs tell us.
Then he can make the decision then. If he wants to be a jedi or not? or should i say if he wants to unlock the fscs, totally different thing really
"when did they ever tell us that there would be a limit to the number of jedi on a server?"
Yes... I am interested in hearing where this tidbit of info came from as well. ![]()
My first holocron said to master chef and my second said to master Ranger.
I quite look forward to becoming a Master Ranger.
According to the researchers on the jedi forum (
) You only have to master three professions (maybe four). Once you've mastered those three professions the fourth holocron you try will say:
"The Holocron is quiet. The ancient's knowledge of the Force will no longer assist you on your journey. YOU MUST CONTINUE SEEKING YOUR OWN"
So there is more to it than just the professions aparently. The good news is that the silent holocron will then work for other players. It is not "used up."
I guess the devs thought that the profession requirement for Jedi was too difficult, and no one was even coming close. This is probably because people are just starting characters on other servers in order to try different professions, rather than give up hard-won skill point (that is what I've done to some extent).
