I am Master Ranger and I haven't played since the big patch so I am not positive if this is still in effect. Since the first of the small patches leading up to this patch(I think it was last Friday) my mask scent doesn't work on Correlia. I mask scent and the symbol comes up saying I am, then I run out of town and everything notices me, aggros me but the mask scent never breaks. It worked fine on Naboo and Lok, not sure about other planets though. This must be some sort of bug, I wasn't riding a mount or vehicle. This only started after the first patch. I play on Eclipse(don't know if this may be a server issue?). I will check it as soon as I can to see if it is fixed or not.

LAst night, as my buddy, a 3344 Ranger, and i, a 3334 ranger, where hunting the squill caves, basically trying to sneak around and kill the small mobs while staying away from the big ones, we got aggroed several times by it seems like the whole freakin cave. Our mask scent was definitely in tact, and occasionally we would get the mask scented xp, but stuill, creaturees were attacking us like we were 0001 scouts. I pray this is a soon to be fixed bug, ot one of those "we're working on it, maybe in a couple of months it'll be ok" bugs, and definitely not one of those "No that was intended" bugs.

There's no question this is a bug, and it was in effect before the vehicles patch.

It may be part and parcel with the Ranger-/maskscent bug. If I use /maskscent but have no camo kit for the planet, I enter a state of /conceal that doesn't work. Normal /maskscent you can remove by /maskscenting again, but now I'm instead told that I'm already /concealed (which I'm not as I never said /conceal and have no camo kit.)

So you essentially have this "phantom" concealed status that doesn't actually work. All you can do is wait for it to expire (on the normal conceal timer, ie. a long time) and then /conceal with a camo kit.

That would explain why not everyone has had the issue, and why I have never seen the problem personally...

Conceal was breaking quite a bit for me last night, but I am not sure if that was more than prior. It is hit or miss with my. Sometimes it is very tough, other times it stinks. Unfortunately, I seems that the stinking is more typical.

both seemed screwy with me, I conceal, walk up to some pirated, get scout xp for doing it, and they attack me anyway.

Also had animals with mask attack after I got the xp from being masked near them. i didnt attack them, they just aggroed.
