Thread: The Best Hunting Profession
A nice addition to the crafting stations in the camps would be the ability to add an architect-made crafting station to replace the ones in the camps. These crafting stations would go back into your inventory when you picked up the camp, rather than get destroyed, but would give you an opportunity to get an experimentaiton bonus better than the generic, public crafting stations that are included.
"I'm not sure about that baseline I rarely have issues with running up beside an Ancient Bull Rancor and petting it."
The baseline is complete supposition on my part, as GreenMarine is tight lipped on the actual value.
- I selected CL25 because that was the level that a Master of an Elite Combat Profession was supposed to /con white against.
I also do not know how quickly the success rate falls off for creatures above the baseline...
- It is possible the a CL50 creature would still provide a 70% of success in the current system.
But as I said, I really have no definitive evidence to back the claim...
- It is simply a relative mark to compare against.
"If we can't conceal ourselves from NPCs, then camo kits will be nothing more than resource drains with the rare exception of the occasional group member that doesn't have /maskScent."
I totally agree...
- /conceal is going to need a huge blooming improvement to make it worthwhile to players who don't travel in groups.
----
Personally /conceal still serves the same purpose for myself as it did previously...
- Namely it allows me to conceal my partner.
But as for the soloers in our midst, a significant boost is definitely required...
A initial suggestion would be:
- Increase the success rate to 99% with a baseline Creature Level of 50 for +100 skill.
- (I am presuming that the current baseline is CL25 for +100 skill)
