Thread: the best ranger ability
yeah SURE blame the Bothans. we don't mind. no no no. That's what we're here for. The fuzzy little doormat for all of you to step on.
Most of the time, I'd tell opponants to stand up and fight...but you're all taller than me...
KNEEL ME AND FIGHT! KNEEL ME AND FIGHT!
I'll teach you to shave me!!!
Now I miss my HTFB!

Still, camps are every bit as much symbols of the "new unfriendly swg" as anything else. When you walk or tavel by the "tent cities" outside of Theed or Coronet, filled with afk rangers and scouts, many of them spamming for people to visit their camps just for the privaledge of sitting in the company of a macro-grinding ranger, it really gives me just as sad a feeling as visiting an all-afk cantina, or a medical center with more tumblers than doctors.

I agree, one of my pet peeves....speaking to armor craftors, trying to buy armor...and they tell you that they wont do it, cause they only make and sell composite armor, no matter what I offer them.
pretty sad, letting customers pass you by because you only want to make composite.
ahh well, would probably be better off not using armor anyways

Different types of armor require different resources..... you can't move all you harvestors, wait for good shifts for those resources, all for 1 order? You need to specialize or you only make really crappy stuff that nobody wants..... since most people want composite.... most people specialize in that. There are a few AS that specialize in Ubese and Padded, and don't do composite, but because of the lesser demand, that are fewer of these.
Same goes for the person complaining about smugglers and not slicing for individuals..... In a market economy you need to find a niche and stick with it. You can't be all things to all people. In an ecomomy it is all about supply and demand...... People pay well for buffs and nothing for treating wounds..... result, nobody treats wounds, just heal tumblers until they can buff.
All non-combats professions has adjusted themselves to what combats have demanded.... compostie armor and buffs. So don't complain.
Thank you Tuskkiller for that insight,( bet you cant tell I know almost absolutly nothing about crafting
), and after Nemo0 had also given his advice, I got to thinking about this very thing....and came to the conclusion that, I indeed did make a mistake and should put more effort into looking into the situation before posting my (pointless rants of incoherent nonsense
)
Thank you again Tuskkiller, I hope I have learned my lesson. If not I hope all of you will forgive me, I am still trying to learn the ropes.
Good Journey.

I think the HTFB is one the coolest things in the game. I have a screen shot of one that I had put out from a long ways away. I put one out now and I still get the "wow" effect.
I love them.
I sometimes start to feel that im taking my HTFB forgranted so i sometimes find it fun to run out into the wild with a basic camp kit can just sittin around for a while.
Also I have a theory as to why many people ar anti- social. It all has to do with hologrinding, In order master all 32 profs. it takes alot of time, most of it spent alone crafting etc. and because of this they dont go out and socialize. S once the jedi revamp (which should have came after the other prof.'s were fixed) comes out you wont see as many people just afk grinding as such.
This drove me away, Hologrinding and high end loot camping. Boy I remember Dantooine before the holocron camps and player cities, was my favorite place to be
Now its Dathomir. I really hope that after they eliminate the Hologrinding that we see a resurgance of SWG role playing and game play. SOE has created an entire generation of players whos main aim is to get thru a profession as quick as possible and this really troubles me :0
