Coronet loads in one second for me too... The second time I try to log in there after getting booted the first time! 
... and the second try still takes 10 minutes...

They have had posts where clowns sat around and calculated damage per second of the different specials using different pistols - ad nauseum - talk about not having a life.
I worry about many things, however, how many shots do I have to make to drop target X, and which pistol will do it best, is not one of them.
Oh yeah - wander into the l33t and uber BH board. Bring your waders tho, the crying and snot slinging gets deep sometimes.

Now JB, be nice to the number crunchers. I like having those numbers when it comes time to choose a new gun. It allows me to make an informed buy.. And I certainly don't want to do the crunching myself to get the information.
Just because it's not useful to you, and the fact that they probably don't, sadly, have anything better to do, is no reason to ridicule them.
The "i r uberer then u" posts are reason enough without you referring to these useful, if generally unnecessary, bits of data.
Man, I almost forgot about the "i r uberer than u" posts. My favorite variation is the "my gunz r more biggerer than your gunz" posts. Someone posts the stats of their latest Krayt pwnage mo-sheen that they bought for x million credits and someone else comes along andpipes up with
"Feh! My firend just bought one that does twice the damage at half the speed for a tenth of the credits. I can't remember the name of the 'smith who made it, and I also can't remember my good friend's name, but I am sure it happened. I think it's pre-nerf. I know he solo'd four Geonosian enhanced ancient canyon krayt dragon Emperors with it in like six seconds or something. That makes me more uberer than u."

Heh! I knew I wasn't the only person to catch that bit of irony.
Of course, the major differences are that we're:
- talking about our personal accomplishments, rather than our uber-leet toys
- Doing so ina friendly manner, with congratulations/pity as appropriate (how much Cor. Avian??)
- Not trying to one-up each other
So while fundamentally it's the same thing, our methods are totally different.
