I finally bought a biotchin' black duster, and totally looks incomplete with out a cowboy hat!!!!!!!!

I will /sign this because i think it is a great idea, and if i was actually playing swg i would be a ranger...

This small, zero balance affecting game item is for appearances only and would go along way to making the Rangers feel like we are still remembered in this game.
A little bit of art work time is all that is needed, just modify the art off a sunguard or helm.
I know, asking for art work projects is selfish and demanding, well, dangitt, we deserve some eye candy.
Some may say this is an un-rangerish request, fine, I will shoulder that burden this one time.

Apparently I am not so good at backing away. I always seem to get it confused with "Embraces with open arms." So here I am. Officially scary and wierd. Very wierd. Funny how time and experience change things.

I have some very cool Ranger type clothing, and I have never seen anyone try to totally copy my style. I could easily win best dressed Ranger of Wanderhome 
I read most of this thread... lol ... hawt pants... discussions about the uglier hats in the game.
I have ever since I started on the Road to Ranger back long long ago wanted a Indiana Jones Esque hat. One of my big wishes. I would like it to be Worn only by a Master Ranger, or at least someone who has Masterered the Ranger Profession. I would be fine with it just being eye candy, but having it grant special abilities would be awesome. I would be fine with it having to be made from rare lootable items.
Like only made out of the rarest hard to get Hides, with each type of Hide changing the attributes of the hat. Maybe even make a "Ranger Quest" where you have to be a Master Ranger to accept a quest to get these things and a Master Ranger NPC Makes it for you. In some way similar to the R.I.S. Armor Quest or something.

You know, one day, when the Ranger Revamp is getting worked on, some poor soul in the art department will get a memo saying "You've to go read this thread and come up with some ideas..." and be sent here

Well, if the end result is a straw hat for wookiees, I'm all for it!. In fact, we should put this in the Ranger Revamp section and any time a dev asks for ideas, point them here.and then, VERY QUICKLY, send them the real link. I don't want our revamp to be (just) a hat.
