Found the quickest way to get xp for trapping last night. Head on out to Dantooine and pull graul missions unless you prefer to find them in the wild. Get buffed and wear good kinetic resist armor and have a load of traps ready as you'll get around 500 xp per trap from the grauls. If your using good armor and looking to milk the lair just stagger out your traps, throw one every 5 seconds or so of each kind the wait 10 seconds and repeat. Usually the effects from the first trap thrown have worn off and the new one will take place giving you another 500 points. I was able to level 2 boxes last night in about an hour and a half.
