I, too, completed the Advanced Trapping branch last night as I was roaming the staggered terrain of the death-trap called Dathomir. Did the entire Ranger trapping line on Ravenous and Shallow Tortons using glow wires that can be tossed at a creature as many times as you want. Generally did one level per lair. I don't like grinding but I didn't like traps much and this got me through it quickly.

Congrats! You finished right before the CU
My first time mastering ranger was also finished with the trapping line. I think I finished survival before I was at trapping 2.
Last trap thrown was a glow wire trap on a Rancor stuck with an adhesive mesh.
I got trained in the master box a few minutes later by a master ranger who happened to be there.

I threw my last trap at a Squill in the Squill Cave Sat/Sun and finally finished camping last night .. sigh .. was planning to do it gradually over the week likeI have been doing but with the shock of the CU going live within days had to resort to that nasty afk camping script .. only needed 20k xp but only had 30 mins of play time to do it and 5 hrs of sleep time .. *grovels apologetically* .. but I didnt feel right accepting the newly introduced scouting xp for the column. So I can hold my head up reasonably high to say I mask scented the mask scent column, harvested the harvest column, trapped the trapping column and camped the camping column to become an honest camper .. not bad considering most of the camps were solo ones I spend hours in when I didnt feel like playing but felt like chatting to my partner.

Ancient Bullk Rancor. 2000 trapping xp.
I never thought a trap would stick on one of thosse things. Back then it took 10 of us to take it down and we all cloned at least once and ran back as quickly as possible.

Congratulations! Welcome to the fold. My last trap was thrown at an ancient bull rancor after I had been hitting it with concealshot for what seemed an eternity. That was fun!
