Hell yeh, thanks for getting that shot of me coming out of Mr Gorax's backside. Man was it stinky in there. I was worried when he swallowed me but I just clawed my way through until I saw some daylight. Fortunately, Ithorians are a natural laxative.

ACK!! Well, I crashed a couple of times trying to log in.. Was then 30 minutes late, but finally headed to Endor S.O. and joined Phen's group. I crashed again after my second incap but was able to relog pretty quickly (in time to recover from my incap and escape).
But, once I found my way to the larger group with Tash and Ken and everyone, I crashed hard and it rebooted my computer.Oh well.. It's just not my day...
Good luck finding that gorax
I'd just like to say that it had nothing to do with the fact he'd just found Tash and I that he crashed
Guys, that was by far the most fun I've had ingame in a while. First time I've seen a gorax on Live, just a pity I was still too far out after cloning after the beast went down.
Got some nice screenies which I'll chop around a bit and post soon
So, when's GRMVII???

Yep, it was fun. I think I may start leveling my TKM there a bit more. Now, I wanna lead a guild hunt up to Endor for some gorax smashing on my server.

It was a great evening with you all, started with this nice camping session near Mos Eisley and ended very happy and exhausted on Endor
.
I took a few pictures of the event, including a nice sequence of the first Gorax going down
. As the others have said, if you weren't there you have missed a hell of blaster shots making you dizzy even if you stay clear of Mr. Gorax himself
.
Edit: Oh sorry did I mention that I even have pictures of the garment not to name here?

Great Hunt everyone! That was definitely the best hunt I've been on in my (almost a ) year of playing SWG. And I've been a Master Ranger for nearly that long.
Can't wait for the next one, and, like someone said earlier in this thread,: we should designate Wanderhome as the Permanent Home of the GRM. That way, for those of us that want to, we can advance our characters on Wanderhome for the next GRM.. Having said that, I now have to say that being a noob character this time did not take away from the fun of the hunt at all!!! I went into the hunt at Scout 2/2/2/2 and Brawler 3/0/0/0 and wasn't even buffed when we started battling the first Gorax.
Huge THANK YOU's to Obata and Phe'nix for all the heals and many Rez's and a buff midway through. And THANK YOU's to all the Wanderhome Masters for hosting the GRM and making it fun even for the noob/wannabe Scouts/Rangers.
Great pics too. I took a bunch of pics as well, but have not had time to organize or even look at them yet. As soon as I do I'll post a few.
Thanks again Everyone. And to you Wanderhome folk: I'll be seeing you (as I intend to Master both Ranger and TKM on Wanderhome) :-)
Peace

Personally, I think it is worth pushing Test Center as much as possible for these things. Wanderhome is a great server for it (and probably worth keeping as a backup for those days that TC Is down and we still want a meet) but providing such a large test group helps the game while we have some fun (and it can lead to a few extra players on TC). The main downside of TC is that you need to have a second client installation to get it to work (i.e. takes up a lot of space and can cause trouble when installing). Hopefully that sort of problem won't affect too many people.

My biggest worry with TC is that it gets 'bounced' alot. Though it is less frequent on weekends, it's always a possibility.

Sorry Nemo, but I did not start the GRM for testing purposes.
The biggest issue with having this on TC is that, as you pointed out, you need a second full installation of SWG. Most people can't 'afford' this due to their hard drive. I would hate to have that as a gate.
That being said, I think the GRM will stay a seperate entity run by me and Owen will be in charge of the Ranger Games (which will be held on TC), should he choose to continue with them.

Yeah its up to people for what they want, although Nemo did touch on the good part where not only do you get to have great fun on a neutral server, you also provide both the TC community and devs some great support.
The only problem is yeah, the TC installation, although i believe most people are just scared of the patches and think they will need to install a full years worth of patches to get playing. That isnt the case, when you install TC, its a copy of your live game then you patch whatever updates needed from that point tobring your version in line with TC. Yes its a problem so its up to anyone but TC does have a lot of potential.
The main point i was trying to make though with making tc the new home is getting active rangers set up playing on TC to the point they have some creds in the bank, resources in their backpacks and a place to meet and use are their base of opperations. This (imo) will be vital for any future ranger publishes and ultimatly the ranger revamp. I was hoping after a good few TC GRMSthat lots ofrangers will be acustom to playing on TC and comfortable logging on and having access to supplies and equipement they needs to test things out.
Thats the only thing i worry about, when the ranger revamp hits it will be a rush to get on tc and once new players get there, they will be complete noobs and put off. I like the idea that lots of rangers have existing characters and 'stocked' inventories ready for any testing they need to do. Sort of accomplishes alot of things at once, gets ranger prepped for ranger publishes and the revamp, helps us set up a base of opperations and the infrastructure we would need and also can have fun on a neutral server for most.
End of the day though its up to the rangers where they want to go, although i believe TC has the best potential and biggest rewards.
