Who says you only pronounce it once? Think of how Chewbacca sounded in the original trilogy, and then try to imagine how he would pronounce "Kashyyyk". I rather doubt the second syllable would be "ek".

One thing's for sure: the second 'i' in my name isn't redundant. It's hard, but if I try I can pronounce it correctly in RL.

i just know that in Episode 3, Kashyyyk was pronounced like this:

Cah-sheek

with the emphasis on the "sheek" sylable

I finally agree with Calc on something.

we form 2 guilds for the event. one guild is all Wookiees, and the other is all non-Wookiees. Then we have them declare a Guild War against each other.

or we could all just go to kashyyyk and help the Slavers.

while i think those are both funny, i do have a bit of concern. Personally, i have nothing against Ithorians, and i think they are really cool. and if nothing else, they certainly are snappy dressers.

Sullestons and Ith can be switched, or Twilek's and Ith. There are more basically hairless species that furry ones, so one will have to suffer the indignity of being with the furry underlings.

Well my Toon is currently a lvl 3 Newb, so i'm not too concerned. If we did a "Guild War" style Ranger meet, i think we should do it capture-the-flag style with the flags from the NPC cities. Assign each guild one of 4-5 PLanets and hide the flag somewhere there. Then we play capture the flag. First one to recover the flag wins(Maybe one get Endor, Dant, Corellia, and Talus, the other get Tat, Naboo, Rori, And Yavin IV)
