I've been a Master Ranger for a while now and I figured that this would be a good way to consolidate my knowledge and also maybe educate anyone new to the game in the process. I've had a quick, but far from thorough, search of the forums and If this has been done before a link would be appreciated

Basically I want to compile a list of resources that not only sell easily but also for a good profit. For the entire history of my ranger career I've lived of the following.

Type: Herbivore Meat
Important stats: OQ(main), PE(secondary)
Sale Price: 30-45
Sells to: Doctors, Medics

Type: Avian Meat
Important stats: OQ & PE (both important)
Sale Price: 35-55
Sells to: Doctors

Type: Woolly Hide
Important stats: OQ, SR, UT, MA
Sale Price: 10-50 (Varies)
Sells to: Armoursmiths for high quality, high cost. Architects for cheap low quality hide

A few moreplanet specificresources I've only hunted once, and only by client request.

Type: Dathomir Insect Meat
Important stats: OQ, PE
Sale Price: I was trading for pets, not credits, but it worked out to about 50cpu.
Sells to: Bio-Engineers, for Pet Stim Cs

Type: Lokian Leathery Hide
Important stats: OQ, SR, UT
Sale Price: 30cpu
Sells to: Armoursmiths, makes padded armour.

I'd appreciate if other, more experienced, Rangers could fill in any holes in resources I've been missing. If there are more than a handful of posts I'll recompile everything in a unified format as we go along.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, i mean your efforts are commendable, but I think this information has been posted already and can also be found (a in a bit more complicated form) on swgcraft.com

Raining on my parade is fine /umbrella. I've checked SWGCraft though and while it has a complete list of what rescources are used to create what items. It didn't have (not that I could find anyway) what sells like a proverbial hotcakeand/or what prices you can expect to get by selling the raw rescources.

I'm more using this thread to see if there are any markets out there I'm not utalising and at the same time give lazy newb rangers a handout than to break any new ground.

That's pretty much what I try to go after as well. Nice to know which stats are the important ones, though. Thanks.

I also sell regular bone for 20-30 CPU on Bria, if it's got good stats. I generally just look at OQ, but I don't know if other stats are more important or what. :/

Standard bones for 30cpu you say? Who buys them?

Sells To: Architects - Needed to make fine quality furniture

I sell this at 10 cpu but I intentionally sell cheap. It always sells out at the Endor Research Facility Bazaar within 48 hrs. I have heard prices upwards of 50 cpu for good quantities as being pretty standard but that is by commission so I do not know what the regular selling price is on Kettemoor. Architects do not care about the stats as they do not matter in their crafting.

There are 2 majoraspects of this resource:

It is always in demand.

It is only on high level creatures (around 50 for most)on Endor (mantigrues and gurreks). Hunting mantigrues is my regular pasttime. They usually come 6 to 7 in a nest and I can get 3500 - 4300 xp for each of them solo.

Just sharing with my brothers.

what about other types of meat...carnivore, insect, kangaroo...etc..

Carnivore meat is used by chefs to make bivoli tempari, a highly sought after buff to wound treatment [and therefore stat enhancements] for doctors. My doctor wishes more rangers were bringing in carnivore meat

Thanks for the info. I saw those other forms but i have no desire to spend 15 mins calculating the value of my stuff. Ive been looking for some ball park prices for a while. thx!!

Also JuJutsu, With the Carnivore meat is there any particular planet it needs to be from? Also what stats are important and how much does it sell for? If it's just generic carnivour meat there is a near unlimited suply of 3cpu meat coming out of Dathomir daily.

As of now...on lowca

naboo leathery has a sr and oq both over 950. People are buying it for 60cpu minimum
