I think I did a few explorer missions during my first week in the game as a novice scout, found them horribly boring and frustrating (Even if you pulled 1 explore mission then 1 regular mission for that kind of creature). Faster money and genearlly more interesting doing regular missions. Probably havn't run one in 10 months or more now.

The explorer terminals have been essentially broke since cities were added. It just took a while for the cities to really set in and destroy the spawns. The CU just finished the job.

I used one a while back. I've changed some classes but always kept the Scout (now Master Ranger). I check the missions and like another poster said, it's not financially worth the time to do them.

I used 'em when i was levelling up in scout and early ranger. I normally got the hunt 4 billion womp rat missions on Tat and then got womp rat missions from the normal mission terminals. so by the time i got to the 4 billionth womp rat i got a nice bonus pay out.

Nope, they're boring and time consuming. It's also really difficult to pull regular missions for the exploration missions - some of the exploration missions just don't appear on the regular ones (been a while, I can't think of an example off hand). And it can literally take hours to find the creatures especially 40 of em. Now if the pay was a heck of a lot more, I might be interested. Personally I think exploration missions should be done differently. Instead of being basically just extended regular missions it'd be nice if they had more emphasis on actual exploration- unfortunately since SWG spawn is the way it is, that isn't really possible.

Back when I was a musician I use them, but only the explore missions. Had no combat skills so normal mission was out of the question. And also when I started up on this chim (when it was brand new) to support 30 artisan crafted harvesters, (use the lots of a two friends with combat tons to get grind metals)
However, since space if faster for credit grinding now a days, they are obsolete.

Nope. Think I've used one, once upon a time.
The spawn system is too weird to go off trying to find 40-50 of some random animal for only a couple creds. It's more profitable to just do normal missions and takes less wandering. If I want a challenge I go help someone find the gorax, or the npcs of the hero of tat quest, since they're at least hard to find yet challenging enough to be interesting as I wander about.

They have been broken since the CU. I used them a few times while a Noob scout, but that was it.

I've tried once or twice, but it's too much of a pain in the butt.
If I want to explore, I just take off on a hike. If I want to hunt, I get a garrenteed target from a mission terminal.

Once or twice is all. They aren't efficient and you're better off just getting regular destroy missions if your looking to make money or harvest a certain resource.
