where can I camp now then?!!!

You cannot set up camp this close to a lair, is becoming the bane of my life!

Don't get me wrong, lots of wild spawns is great, I don't even get tempted to get missions.. but having them all 80m or so apart makes camp placing a trite difficult!

Make yourself room In fact, take out the lair and use the harvest to build yourcamp!

Ah ok, will try that! For some reason I thought if you killed a lair the spawn point was still "in the system" as it were and wouldn't let you camp on it? Maybe I dreamt that!

I think there is a short delay 'till the server realises you have actually 'removed' the lair

Anyone else having genuine 'issues' regarding camping with the new spawn rates?

Ill get to work addressing it if you do but i need to know what you guys are experiencing first and what impact it has on your gaming.

Cheers

I have been camping quite a bit, and haven't had too much of a problem. I will certainly take the good spawn rates even it means moving around looking for a place to camp.

Yes, this means I am on my way to master Ranger on the big Leezard again! I missed it and have seen the error of my ways .

See. We told you.

Nice thread de-rail too, lol.

As for camping, yesterday out round the Rebel HQ on Corellia I was having a time getting anywhere to drop a camp without hitting a lair message. From the radar there was nothing within 128m, so I'm assuming it was NPC spawn points that were throwing things out.

Back on tat, in the 1km band outside Espa, it was difficult but not impossible (with a bit of scorched earth policy) to clear the spawns long enough to drop a camp. Assuming there wasn't a harvester farm or architects factory cluttering the landscape up. Further out it was getting a bit silly with red mobs agogo. Fair enough if you subscribe to " the wilderness should be tough" but a PIA when you're trying NOT to scr*w over your Thug faction again.

One thing I've found, is that if you ride a speeder/swoop, you can usually set up your camp before the lair spawns. Of course you'll have to move on before you can set up your next camp (this seems to be a good way of preventing AFK macro camping.

Do you think if this gets out of hand that camps should be placable near lairs? So for instance you should be able to pop a camp even when next to a lair?
