This is my first attempt at putting together a post like this, so bear with me.
Rangers Network
What I am attempting to do is assemble a list of individuals per galaxy that would be willing to set up a network on their server, and or the name of the network channel.
What this Network would consist of is a Ranger chat channel like the Ranger Information Network on the Kauri server, and if feasible, maintain current information on what and where to hunt. This is subject to change, and more stuff added later with each post I get.
Not looking to create a guild, just a loose organization that can help each other out in game.
Please post any suggestions, and hopefully we can get our in game network up and running soon!

a RIN channel exists on eclipse for erm... as long as I can remember :-)

Radiant has a RIN too. 
Which is either Ranger, Resource, or Radiant Information Network depending on who created it.

It sounds like most if not all galaxies have a ranger chat. Guess all we really need to do is get the word out! If I get the names, I will post em here!

I don't think Naritus has a RIN

My question is, what are the names of the RIN? Do we just type in /rin hi? or do they have a more specific name?

The RIN are just called "RIN".
/chatr join RIN used to do the trick, but since they automagically create nowadays I don't have to join that often

Every server automatically has one? COOL!!! So I guess this post is done. All we need to do is get the word out!
I will continue to list specific channels if anyone posts them.
I will look in togearingthis site to a posting for hot resources, and hopefully get some of the veteren rangers to help with prices. Thanks!

They don't automatically have one, somebody will need to create it. BUT if there is one, /chatr join RIN will drop you into it. It will then remain in existence until the last person leaves the channel after which it'll be destroyed. 
But it'll be created automatically again as soon as somebody with a RIN chat tab logs in
However, you're right to be checking what other ranger oriented chat channels exist on the different servers, RIN is just something that's been seeping out of the forum for the past wee while and is no more 'official' than any other channel.
I'm off to check for RIN's on the servers I've got chars on, will report back in shortly.
