how do you guys do it? can a master rifleman/master ranger do it? only 4 points left tho so no stims.. can you guys give me any info?

Yes, but not as easily as a Carbineer. You must become well versed in CoD and the PDart. Having a droid in this case helps because of the high regen rate the Krayts have. I previously never used droids until this was pointed out to me by JB.

hmm, I'm planning on droping Bh with my alt and joining you guys, I'm trying to figure out what would benifit me and my friends lol.

i'm still thinking we need to sticky the guide to big-game hunting!
if you can do a forum search, search for "Guide to Big Game Hunting, by me. i'll also go try and grab ya a link, but if the search is working it might be faster.

Well if it is any help don't look at whether Ranger can solo Krayts or not as the deciding factor. I have many friends with BH/Carbineer and Carb/Pistoleer/Smuggler that solo Krayts just fine with no Ranger in their template.

QFE...Phenix's guide is great just understand that you don't need to be a Master Ranger to do it. If you are using traps you will need at least the 4th tier of Ranger trapping and a highly modded droid, dweezal, Wookie or that other race with trapping mods, or Master to be consistant. And you can do it without being a Ranger depending on your template but employing the same basic principles

Use the dart that start with a P.... you can keep them snared the entire battle. Snare+TerrainNegotiation = win

He He He, dont drop BH. In my expirience BH is one of the best Combat professions to go with Ranger.
