There's a little lost droid outside the hotel in Moenia. Silly thing has managed to lose it's master, tshuh!!
So, it wants you to go see if he's OK and of course, being the helpful, adventurous sort that you are you agree.
This is a great wee quest, easily done if you're at least competent with one combat skill, maybe Master of one of the starter profs, but by no means do you need to be elite. I ran through it this evening in just over an hour, unarmoured and unbuffed.
At first it looks as if you're going to be passed from one mission giver to another, no combat, no risk. But pretty soon you're sent to speak to the droid's owner who is trapped at a downed shuttle by some Blach Sun.
The shuttle is within walking distance of a starport on Talus. In fact it was close enough for me to pick up the Black Sun on /area. There were around half a dozen, not hugely high HAM (3-9kish) and they were grouped close to the shuttle.
As I'm working on Master Rifle just now I decided to conceal shot my way in. After clearing the area I spoke to the droids owner and he sent me off to check on BS activity elsewhere on Talus.
Once again the target area was within walking distance (under 1.5k) of a starport, in some pretty hilly terrain. There's not a lot to tell, around 15 BS, between 4 and 12k HAM. Use a good conceal position and get ready to bug out when they DO aggro on you.
I hadn't missed three times, so conceal shot 'should' still have been working, nor did my cammo break, but I was taking hits from the BS and legged it up and over the nearest hill. I headed into a group of kima who promptly aggroed on the pirate types. From then on it was just a case of drag tehm into the animals, kill them whime they were busy. (Avoid AoE attacks... DOH!!)
Cmplete THAT little mini-mission and you head back to talk to the droids owner. He's again got BS nearby, so I used cammo and walked in and talked to him. Nearby a swordsman and droid were hacking away at one of the tougher BS. BTW, these boys have got medium resists to kinetic, low to much else.
The owner then sends you off on a space intercept mission. Huge fun if you're JtL enabled, a gate, i guess, if you're not. Destroy the target, mop up the escort, back to speak to the boss AGAIN. I was starting to understand why the droid 'lost' his boss.
Anyway. Last stage of the mission, go back and speak to the Lost Droid. You will be given one last task to do and, big softy me, I felt kinda bad about it.
OTOH!! Got some adhesives for my rugs, a nice pocket full of credits AND another schematic...
And no, am not telling you where, what, names or who. Go do the mission, its more fun that way! Use your rangerly skills, peel the bad guys away from the pod, drop them one by one, use stealth and brains.
Oh, and HAVE FUN.

I have heard the reward. And its more then worth the effort that goes into it.

If you're not, it justs skips that part and goes to the next stage.

Crikey, that's unusually sensible for these parts, lol.
Might try running it again with the Doc then...

On a scale of 1-10, I rate this about a 7ish.
Failry easy, quick, tho the BS arenot all that easybecause there are so many.
Oh, I also got to contend with Binyare pirates and Dralls right near the target also. Yeah, they are big fans of me.

I feel a little lost here...
Is this a new quest or has it beenaround for a while? Why is this little guide posted here? If someone could drop a little context in for me, that would be great.
Cheers!

New quest as of last publish. I deliberately left out specifics as I'm not writing up a game-guide, I'm more a "its far more fun to go do it and find out for yourself" kinda guy. (Come on, I gave you the start and end point, plus an indication of how many stages there are).
Also don't want to spoil the ending...
Oh, and it's here cos I did it as au unbuffed, unarmoured ranger using conceals, TN and a bit of tactics, rather than as an uber weapon toting double combat mastering ninja loot whore. So, its here partly as a 'this is cool' but largely as 'hey theres more in the game than gutting critters for coin AND some of it is easier if you're cool like us'

Well thank you for the info then! I must have missed this in the last patch notes. And I definitely appreciate the approach to the info, rather than just spoiling all the fun.

Ok, Just finished the Quest...
I like how it combined space and ground missions. Some of the back and forth on the ground was annoying but what can you do...
As for the schematic... uh, what use is it to me? Or anyone for that matter...
