That was GREAT. First time seeinng a Gorax let alone helping shot one down with a CDEF. Woo I hope ranger meet 7 comes along soon! I took a few screenshots but I'll have to post them later, feel free to post yours.

Yep, first time I seen a gorax as well. Pretty fun. 
Great getting out there and spanking the gorax a bit. Well, for like 2 hours. Our wee cdef equipment merely tickled it to death.
Got me a gorax bone shard tho! Of course I cant use it. So, anyone on Wanderhome know a good place I can sell it? I'm flat broke.. lol

Never has a butt whooping been so much fun!
We finally ended it after 6 hours! What a blast.
The best part was the monkey knife fights. Kago vs Calc! Kago cheated and beat me though.../shifty

Once again, another great GRM. The third attempt for a Gorax during a Meet(GRM's 2 and 5 found no Gorax, but still a blast) was the charm. Once most everyone arrived, we set off for the desert and the ever elusive (to the Ranger Meets anyway) Gorax. The harvesting amoeba was in full effect, cutting a swath of destruction through the verdant forests of the Sanctuary Moon.
Upon reaching the desert, the Gorax once again managed to hide its presence from us. As day turned to night, there was still no sign of our quarry. Suddenly, a cry went up! We had our first Gorax sightingof the day! It was a long hard fight against the great beast; blaster bolts everywhere, brave souls attacking with swords, hammers, and fists,a hospital's worth of stims and rez kitsused. However asdawn approached, the beast sensed that it was about to lose this fight andattempted to flee!We took heart inthis and redoubled our efforts. Finally, the beast fell! Victory was ours!
Ok, enough with the attempt atgrand storytelling. After the first, the second Gorax was just as crazy.The third went better than the first two, even though we only had 7 people. I think thetoughest thing that was encountered the whole trip was thatdark novatrooper. 
That thing was nasty. However, I'm a civilian and didn't get to try and take it on.

Overall it was a great time, Ipulled in some nice experience, made about 81k from the resourcesI harvested, and only died twice in three Gorax kills. 
Once again, Obata was the man in keeping all of us alive and bringing us back from the dead when we gotin over our heads. All in all, nothing but good times. Thanks to everyone who showed up. Hope you had as good a time as I did.

This was great fun indeed. I used over 300 stims and about 80 rezes (new records, without question). I haven't been so busy since GRM II and its infamous kimogila incident.
The winner of the Tash award as the most frequent rez recipient was Barbecue. Everyone congratulate him on a job well done.

I myself with through 45 stims and 17 rez kits. Which isn't that bad considering doc is a rezzing machine.

Congrats to Barbecue! And thanks again Obata, I'm sure a good portion of those stims and rezes were used on me
The whole thing was awesome. The best bit was when the newbies charged at the gorax...and soon ended up as corpses, but it was the most fun I've had in a long time (I'll never forget giving the gorax a /wookieehug).

Okay, I'm tired of all the "thanks Obata" comments, goshdarn it.
ONE person thanked me for a rez. I rezzed somebody and 60 seconds later saw that person accidentaly spam "Thanks Obata" because of the groginess delay. I need love too, people. and you owe me for 16 rezzing that went unthanked
