Thread: Scarf instead of hat?

Why stop with a scarf? They could just give us paper bags with little eye holes cut in them.... Although it sounds like some people plan on putting plastic bags over their heads if we don't get a health bonus.
but why stop with a paper bag - after all, there are no paper bags in the star wars canon! I say, give us Kunga Armor! If we get hit, then there could be a chance that the fleas will jump off us and onto our attacker and inflict a level of disease that is proportionate to the time that we have spent in the wild. And if you eqip a shield generator with your kunga armor, the animation you see will besimiliar tothe dust cloud that surrounds pigpen in the peanuts cartoons (ok, not canon, but definitely a must have). Again, the longer you have spent in the field, the more opaque your shield generator dust cloud becomes. Oh, and as a last, added bonus, your kunga armor will start to smell like the field, thus reducing your need for maskscent. Of course, npcs will be able to smell you from a mile away, but maybe we could get an auto-intimidate mod thrown in just for good measure.
so, in conclusion -
D3VZ, W3 N3eDz R's K\/Ng@ @Rm3R!
hehe no actually a scarf would sort of cool - like that one the assassin wore in episode ii...

Personally, I'd like a scarf instead.
a) it hides my face (when Ranger becomes the laughing stock
b) it helps to keep my mouth and nose clean when wandering around in tatooine's sandstorms...
Just my .2c
sorry, scarfs have been out since WW1 pilots flew their open-cockpit Biplanes.

Man, if it's a choice between a dustcloud and my +10 pistol speed belt... I'm gonna have to go with the dustcloud.

True, but I'm not flying in an open-cockpit Biplane above the lands of Tatooine....
Instead I'm walking on them
If you ever would go to the Sahara or other earthly deserts.... you'll probably noticed that mouth and nose are protected agains the sanddust.
So even now it is still used.
And for more SF like... Herbert's Dune ring a bell?
oh believe me, i've spent my time in the desert. but as you say, what good would wearing a scarf do me on Rori? or Naboo? A hat is good everywhere, and looks better. We only want a piece of MR eye candy, and a Hat pwns scarf in that category

I never talked about the usefullness of a hat... Hats are usefull, but so are scarves.
Why not have them both? ![]()
And ... if you didn't get it... the whole post was merely a joke...
