Ok, someone else mentioned this in another thread off handedly and got me thinking.

WHAT IF Rangers could "Create" a stuffed version of ANY animal for display purposes ONLY?

A CH comes to a Ranger and wants his favorite Cat stuffed rather than delete from his datapad to make room. Ranger uses specific materials, creates the animal and BOOM, the Customer has a new House display item?

Rangers could use Datapad pet tranfersto make specific stuffed versions OR have generic schematics for certain levels of Wayfaring.

Who would NOT want a Stuffed Rancor on the balcony of his house?

It is late, I am tired, but think of the money we could make!

Well I doubt most homes could accomodate the rather large creatures, so what I'm thinking is just the heads of trophy creatures.

Ranger, it's a lifestyle not a profession. (yes I stole it, but only because it's the official ranger motto)

BE pets currently do this (although they move). I think it might be better if we could just take the head or some other part of the body from stuff that we kill. If people want statues, they go to a BE. If people want hunting trophies, they come to us.

I like this idea. Have them in the form of a painting but with the head sticking out.

I like the idea of converting kills into 'statues' for display. Maybe it could be a roll of the dice wether you can taxidermy the head, whole body, skeleton (ooh...), skull (like the hufflighter krayt skull and bol skull quests), or other bone part (i.e. claw, spine, etc..). Maybe the bone parts could be used similar to the ackley bones, or Gurk King bones (etc...) to be optional components to things, but if you dropped them in your house, it would be 'statuesque'.

I'll vote for something like this....

Mounting just the head on a plaque of some sort would be good. Or, and this idea just popped into my head, some kind of cool hologram of the creature, so that it looks like when the people in the Star Wars movies broadcast their image to communicate (all grainy and everything).

Since the beginning of time (SWG style) this idea has been brought up and I have always fully supported it! I want it!

The mounted heads and skulls I mean.

A brilliant idea. Either as a way to take CH pets and allow them to keep their friends. Or to take a kill in the wild that a BE or CH can't get and make.

I am a big fan of trophies. I still hold out hope that we will see them someday.
